Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

The main items called out at the 3 year inspections were: suspension wishbone, low beams, fog lamp. Latter two were possibly moisture condensation issues.

Wiki Selling TSLA Options - Be the House

Indeed, you are correct, that explains a bunch. Nasdaq Listing Center So someone forced a lot of call writing. I'm guessing bid hit the low end of range based on other dependencies? [Or ask, depending on which way the flow went.] If one believes in manipluation [and these were purchased from...

Wiki Selling TSLA Options - Be the House

Isn't it the case that the bid price is the highest pre-existing buy order and there is no requirement for purchase liquidity? Bid-ask spread of $0.01 shows much activity.

Wiki Selling TSLA Options - Be the House

Pessimistic first thought: People selling covered calls to get more cash in their accounts. Optimistic second thought: Wouldn't explain the level of purchasing though. 800C for Friday closed at $0.54, may be a lottery/ volatility play. Any good news, they move up and get dumped. Theta/Delta says...

    SpaceX Internet Satellite Network: Starlink

Works anywhere Starlink is active (though slower in waitlist areas), so will work residentally. They are direct marketing to people on the waitlist.

    SpaceX Internet Satellite Network: Starlink

Probably, and I'm fine with that. Only $25 a month extra (normal got bumped to $110 a while back).

    SpaceX Internet Satellite Network: Starlink

Yep, same here. A bit later Starlink sent an e-mail promoting RV for people on the waitlist.

    SpaceX Internet Satellite Network: Starlink

Starlink for RVs Starlink Coverage where service is active (high speed) and watlist (low speed). $135 a month and available immediately... Huh, maybe I live in an RV.

Commercial Crew Transportation Capability (CCtCap) SpaceX and Boeing developments

It's a fixed cost contract, so Boeing can't charge a per seat fee (other than maybe the 5th seat). OIG backed out dev costs which gives a closer rate to future missions. Based on the inital dev award of $4.2 B, 6 flights with 4 astronauts is $175 million a seat. Soyuz was 87 million or so at...

Commercial Crew Transportation Capability (CCtCap) SpaceX and Boeing developments

??? That seems like a response to "why wouldn't they", my post you quoted asked "why would they", which I called out at the end of that post as not making sense unless part of a larger strategy. Lumping in the launch vehicle side, it's not full reuse, but Starliner is going to transition to...

Commercial Crew Transportation Capability (CCtCap) SpaceX and Boeing developments

Indeed it is. Boeing expects ‘minimal refurbishment’ on reusable Starliner crew capsule – Spaceflight Now But how much more effort to make a capsule with propulsion system reusable (while meeting the capsule objectives)? Along with the programmatic advantage they gained by decoupling the service...

Commercial Crew Transportation Capability (CCtCap) SpaceX and Boeing developments

Why would a company spend the extra money and resources to make a new product reusable when the only customer won't pay for it? SpaceX had previously won the CRS contract which was a 12 launch award for SpaceX with future follow on opportunities. Almost all capsules after CRS-11 (first reflight)...

Commercial Crew Transportation Capability (CCtCap) SpaceX and Boeing developments

That's a little harsh. Until June 2020, NASA required SpaceX to only provide new capsules. SpaceX had looked at conversion to cargo version, but it wasn't worth it.
