I have a very early 3 (March 2018) with almost zero defects at delivery, and had to refuse my P3D- twice due to paint, glass, headlight and panel gap issues. The third time we accepted delivery (August 2018) and then had to schedule service for a few more issues. I think the run-up to 5000 cars...

After purchasing a rear wheel drive 3 in April, I just got my 3P two weeks ago. I still have that grin, but my wife is over it already. She's happy with the rear wheel drive.

Are you using fingerprint unlock for the app? I had the same issue with an iPhone after delivery of my second Model 3 and notice that turning off Face ID in the app immediately resolved the issue. The app works again now.

So...I think the issue was letting the app use FAce ID on the iPhone. turning that back off seems to have restored the functionality back to the app in a two car environment.
