Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 on Uberturbines- 265/35 & 275/35R21

No issues from reading other posts other than people are going taller and/or wider for more rim protection. I am thinking of going with either of the below sizes to get taller sidewall and wider tread to protect the rim. F 265/40/21 - R 285/40/21 or F 275/35/21 - R 295/35/21

    Favorite side

That was one of my pet peeves back in the day. Almost every car with directional wheels didn't have driver's side and passenger side specific wheels and I noticed it. One car that did was the Ford Probe GT but most cars do not. Another car that had it.was the Mercedes/Mclaren SLR but that car...

Tesla Offer Model 3/Y Frunk Group Buy

Anyone know of an installer in San Diego area? I see there is one on the Tesla Offer installation network map but no information is provided. I have emailed them but no response yet.

Any recommendations for a PPF installer in SoCal??

Checkout Auto Armour in SD. I got my Y done there. Full stealth PPF and window tint.

    Induction wheel cleaner - recommendation

Good to know about P&S Brake Buster. I will mainly be using it for the tires to get them clean before applying Carpro Perl to the tires.

    Induction wheel cleaner - recommendation

I am using waterless car wash on the wheels or P&S Brake Buster when the car is really dirty and regular wash is needed. I did get my wheels and brake caliper ceramic coated.

Michelin to make all season tires for the 21” Uberturbines wheel sizes.

Michelin also has a set of all season (PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4) with the 265 and 275 sizes. More expense per tire though (~$50/per tire)

Alternate tire sizes for 21in wheels

or could I use 265/35ZR21 up front to replace the current 255/35ZR21 when needed. Reason for this is at some point I want to switch to all season tires and I can find 265/35ZR21 front and 275/35ZR21 rears but no one carries the 255/35ZR21 front and 275/35ZR21 combination in all seasons.

Wrapping - where should the wrap end?

Since I got Stealth PPF my edges had to be wrapped or it wouldn't look right. Even if I got clear PPF I would have them wrap the edges because dirt, wax... will stick to the edges of the PPF and that is not a good look either. If your edges are not wrapped around the body panel the most likey...

    No smudge matte console??

It looks like the Model Y kit come with more pieces and is cheaper than the Model 3 kit or am I reading it wrong?

XPEL Paint Protection Film, Ceramic Coating and Tint

I may be wrong but this is what I have heard. Using the computer cut system can show edges unless the shop modifies the template to increase the cut size so they can wrap the edges. Wrapped edges is definitely needed for Stealth.

XPEL Paint Protection Film, Ceramic Coating and Tint

I agree with DennyL as my White/White MY was the one done with XPEL Stealth, Fusion ceramic and XR Plus tint that he is talking a about. Auto Armour did a great job and Austin was very helpful and responsive to all my questions. He even did a light smoke film on my headlights/fog lights and...

Paint Protection Film (PPF) & Ceramic Coating

The 5-6k quotes for ppf are within the range and $500+ for ceramic. Ceramic on the wheels and brake calipers usually add to the cost.
