    FSD Beta in the UK?

I imagine once FSD Beta v11 ('full stack') release is bug fixed it won't be more than 6 months before that becomes the entire fleet globally. Maintenance costs and risks in keeping two code bases doing the same job is just too high, before even considering how us users feel about it. The...

    Self-driving cars UK Discussion

I don't think that's the case. From what I recall, Elon approaches it more in the sense of how capable the car is. The current version hardware might be learner driver level, or just about scrape a pass in your test level if Elon is lucky. And newer hardware (HW4, or any new camera...

Andrej Karpathy is leaving Tesla. Bad news for FSD ?

So is Andrej Karpathy a Steve Jobs in Tesla AI or just another geeza, even if a Wozniak, who is replaceable part of the team? From what the limited that I've seen. Karpathy is quite the academic and research driven guy, and if so I imagine a commercial setting to be draining. I hope that...

    Tesla Jobs UK

Interesting, I'd seen this several months ago and who knows how long it'd been up before that. Perhaps they're on continual recruitment or have a big team to build. I imagine it's a very difficult role to get the right fit for.

    Condensation in rear lights

If it doesn't clear for a month and gets more significant build up of water then raise a service call. They will replace if needed. I had a mobile service come to mine when it wouldn't clear after a while. But some condensation should go on it's own after a while. If you're concerned as it's a...

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

With such a high rate of new cars coming in I can foresee increasing discussion on site upgrades alongside the new sites. Probably need for a measure or heat map based on the number of tombstones, or cumulative max charge rate to account for v2/3 difference. Would be good to supply Vs demand...

    Model Y UK Delivery

When I picked up my M3 14 months ago there was a few days to extend into if you needed to. It shouldn't be a 'take it or leave it' date and a little bit of flexibility provided. They just can't have cars hanging around clogging the place up and lowering their delivery throughput. I'm sure you'd...

    Summon stopped working

Following the car update the other day, and another app update today, I tried all this again. Still not working for me either. My wife's phone, the older app version, it works fine. I'm thinking the next step is with getting an email to the app developers, somehow. To hazard a guess, I imagine...

    Summon stopped working

Yeah I've had the basic summon issue recently. Just want to nudge the car forwards away from the garage door, lights on, brake off, pause to think, give up, brake on.. Basic summon is quite reliable I find if you're standing anywhere around the car. Use it quite a lot for convenience...

    Phantom Indicators

Wow. I flip flop trying to cancel the indicator all the time, manual knowledge to the rescue!

    Phantom Indicators

I get this regularly on three motorway when in the left lane going past the off ramp with navigate on autopilot on. Just a few blinks. Seems exactly like the car indicating that it's not leaving the motorway, which is silly and annoying for everyone involved.

Enhanced Summon & Autonomous driving UK laws

This is it right. Prescribing exact behaviours doesn't fit all scenarios and, in my opinion, is why our driving tests are based around proof of control of the vehicle and understanding of rules and dangers. If everything we're predicable and followed the exact uniform behaviour then it might...
