    Pricing Revealed

Give it a few months after it comes out. Tesla will drop prices like they were doing with the current lineup this whole year.

Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Anyone recently sell their Model 3 SR LFP? I bought back in November of 2022 after waiting months to take delivery and the recent price drops + tax credit are starting to get to me. I'm thinking of just downgrading to an older car for the time being (like old Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander)...

What product to use to clean back of seats?

I have the black interior but the plastic (I think it’s plastic?) on the back of the seat has some white scuffs on it. What products to use to clean the back part of the seats? Is there an all purpose cleaner to use to clean the front of the seats, back of seats and the dashboard?

Best LFP Charging Practices when going on vacation?

The battery drain is not bad at all. When I took my car to get warranty work done, the Tesla advisors left my car parked outside in the Florida sun with sentry mode on and overheat protection. For like 2 days while I was driving the loaner, my car dropped like only 3%. I’m going to be at home...

Best LFP Charging Practices when going on vacation?

So much analysis in this thread way above my pay grade 😅 I guess before I go on vacation I'll drive my car down to about 50% and just leave it unplugged in my garage the entire time and charge it back up to 100% when I get back before I drive it again.

Best LFP Charging Practices when going on vacation?

Would it be better to leave it plugged in with the charge limit set to 50%? Then when I get back just charge it to 100% before driving it again? I noticed the idle battery drain is not bad. I could also easily charge it to 50% and leave it unplugged until I get back but what’s better for the...

Best LFP Charging Practices when going on vacation?

I am planning on taking a 3 week vacation soon and will be leaving my M3 RWD in the garage for the duration. What is the best way to take care of the battery? Regularly, I'll drive the car down to about 30-40% and charge it back up to 80% - then also make sure to charge it to 100% once per week...

Brining jack pads to 3rd party garages necessary?

Looks like if I want to be on the safe side, my best bet is to buy a set of jack pads and install them myself in the parking lot so I know whoever are the employees working that day will see them when they place it on the lift. Any recommendations for good quality pads to buy? I'd rather avoid...

Brining jack pads to 3rd party garages necessary?

Specifically with Discount Tire? My first tire rotation is coming up and I know lifting a Tesla is different than a regular car. Should I buy a set of jack pads and install them in the parking lot when I go somewhere like Discount Tire? My biggest fear is an employee that is rushing or doesn't...

Squeaky /creaky driver's seat issue identified

Has this happened to anyone else? My car has <5k miles on it and when I go to sit in the drivers seat you can hear it squeaking sounding like the noise is coming from the back of the seat. The squeaking noise gets louder when you accelerate from a stop, which is starting to get annoying now...

Does the car notify you of maintenance intervals?

I’m loving this maintenance plan already 😀. I definitely want to rotate the tires regularly since it’s RWD also. Does the mobile Tesla maintenance cost a lot? Discount tire is fairly cheap and I’m glad they have their own pucks. If you also buy tires from Discount Tire you also get free tire...

Does the car notify you of maintenance intervals?

I picked up a 2023 Model 3 RWD LFP and I've already put about 3k miles on it. Does the car notify you when maintenance is required like having a maintenance light like in a ICE car? I saw the owners manual recommends bringing it in at 6,250 miles for a tire rotation so that is the only thing I...

Can anyone share their experience using a Tesla collision center

Specifically the Tesla collision center in Orlando, FL? I was rear-swiped recently in a hit and run leaving some damage, a detailing shop was able to get most of the damage out but there are parts of the number where the paint is completely gone and the rear quarter panel has a slight curve to...

Anybody have the slightest jerky feeling when the car engages brake hold?

Not necessarily the car actually moving but feels like something is engaging when it comes to a complete stop. Feels like a parking brake is being applied when hold is activated

Anybody have the slightest jerky feeling when the car engages brake hold?

I agree, it doesn’t feel as refined as I was expecting. Having the brake hold make a slight movement as it engages always makes me feel like the car is about to breakdown or something since it kind of reminds me when my ICE car had auto stop/start on the engine
