What happened to free FSD upgrade from EAP?

Hi there Back when the whole March debacle happened it looked like folks who bought the Model3 in 2019 before March, along with EAP, were going to get upgraded to FSD for free. On the other hand people who bought Model3 in 2019 (pre March), and who paid for both EAP and FSD, would be invited...

FSD for $3K online for EAP owners?

...since when?! Sounds great but that'd be news to me.

FSD for $3K online for EAP owners?

I bought my M3 in 2019 with a 2019 VIN and I paid for FSD and EAP out of the box (and got the $3,750 tax credit, not $7,500). More fool me I guess.

Perf gets higher top speed, RWD more range, but no love for AWD???

All of them are getting a 5% power bump, which is 0.1s off the 0-60. Sadly, there is no reason to expect a drop from 4.5s to either 4.1s or 4.0s 0-60 on the non-P LR AWD.

Perf gets higher top speed, RWD more range, but no love for AWD???

The Model 3 competes with cars, so it's being compared to other cars. Not sure why we're now comparing it to iphones, other than to soften the blow for some of us?

    Long-range or Performance

I think after today's improvements in the LR RWD, it's that model that has the best price/performance ratio within the group. If you're less sensitive to price, get the P.

Perf gets higher top speed, RWD more range, but no love for AWD???

Nice for you. I got the lower tax rebate *and* missed out on the price reduction by buying earlier in Feb this year. Other models got that blow cushioned a lot more than the LR AWD is all. I'd like to see LR AWD 0-160 be bumped down to 3.8s and top speed 150 (not that I care about top speed)...

    Long-range or Performance

I got the LR AWD. It's amazing! But, if you aren't going to miss the extra $11k, get the performance and never think about it again.:)

Perf gets higher top speed, RWD more range, but no love for AWD???

Well said. Same position as you. I think it's the relative that annoys me most - the fact that the bookend models got quite a lot more love together with the across the board price decrease. No way I'm being an early adopted on the Model Y now.

    Enhanced autopilot features now FSD-only?

I doubt this, as doing so would shaft the early adopters who pre-paid for FSD already. They'd likely have to give a rebate of some sort, which of course they're not in any position to do.

Perf gets higher top speed, RWD more range, but no love for AWD???

I thought the prices had been reduced by $2,900 for the AWD models. By saying $4,900 it's not really the same like-for-like spec. You bought EAP - which isn't available any more (you have to buy FSD to get summon and park now). So the real apples-to-apples price drop is "only" $2,900 (like you...

Bump to 325 mi range and 5% power

This new range is only for the RWD, not the AWD, as far as I can tell...? The only thing coming to standard LR AWD drivers is the 5% power bump, so a whole 0.1s off your acceleration.

    Enhanced autopilot features now FSD-only?

I would guess there is no way they will take something away which you have already paid for. You're good.

    HW3 software pushing?

Doesn't look like any HW3 announcement in today's news sadly.

Rim protection idea against curb rash (Aero wheels only...)

Had my model 3 for a week, already rashed the rims on two of the wheels. What tricked me is that the rear camera's white lines which indicate the edges of the car aren't actually set at the edge - I hit the edge of a curb when the camera white line wasn't quite touching the curb.
