Lift gate not going high enough

Is this something I can adjust or does it have to be a tech?

    Battery Fuse replacement warning

Mine was replaced under the 8-year battery warranty, no cost out of pocket.

Lift gate not going high enough

I had to replace the lift gate on my 2016 Model S. They also replaced the shocks. The hatch doesn't go high enough. I had the body shop try an adjust it, they said they could not. So I looked up how to do it and I replicated the steps with no success. 1. Raise hatch to desired height. 2. Hold...

    Battery Fuse replacement warning

I called about this warning yesterday and was told it would be covered under my 8 year battery warranty. Repair isn't until late December, hope they are right.

Doing the unthinkable. Looking at a non-Tesla to replace my S.

Key fob is hanging by the door to the house. I will bring it inside for a week or so.

    2016, no sentry mode available.

Doing the unthinkable. Looking at a non-Tesla to replace my S.

My car is a 2016 so no sentry mode available. The 12 volt battery was replaced once under warranty when it showed up as bad. I have it in energy saving mode and I don't ping it with request.

Doing the unthinkable. Looking at a non-Tesla to replace my S.

As an update. Yes I rarely drive, I am retired. I charged my S to 81% on November 29. For the next six days it was not driven and the charger was attached to my wife's Kia Soul EV because she drove it a few times over that time period. Last night I attached the charger to the S and this morning...

Doing the unthinkable. Looking at a non-Tesla to replace my S.

I am not replacing it because of it, I am shopping cars and the drain is a mark against. It almost feels like there is something wrong with it, even when the garage is 72 degrees it is humming and making noises.

Doing the unthinkable. Looking at a non-Tesla to replace my S.

My main complaint about my S is phantom drain. It loses about a percent a day while in my garage. My wife's Kia Soul EV, by contrast, sits at 80% charged for weeks. Does anyone have phantom drain experience with the newer EV models hitting the road? Particularly the Mustang Mach E.

    Supercharger - New London, CT

Wow what luck, heading down from NH to Mohegan (staying in New London) one week from this SC's opening day. Always a bit of planning involved going there prior to this SC opening. Have to get enough juice in Auburn to make it back because there is no guarantee that the chargers at Mohegan will...

    Supercharger - Lynnfield, MA

Used this location yesterday for the first time ever, couldn't charge at the first two stalls I tried. Third gave me 4 Kw. Eventually got up to around 48 after the station thinned out a bit. Worst SC experience I have ever had.

What happened to free supercharging for life?

The portion about referrals is a completely separate sentence at the end of the statement that I have free Supercharging for life and all future purchases. This is bait and switch and removes any incentive I have to buy a new S until this one is run into the ground. BTW: Superchargers in this...

What happened to free supercharging for life?

Once upon a time at My Tesla it said I would have free supercharging for any new S or X I ever bought. Now that is gone and says free for the car I own. Besides being a horrible incentive to not buy a new car what is going on here?

    Supercharger - Dedham, MA

I was on my way to Dedham the other day and didn't even bother to check the status of the SC on the map. Turns out they have basically crippled this SC and said it is because they are having 100s of Model 3s come through every week and need it to charge them. I was getting 54 kw.
