Tesla removes regenerative braking strength option

Why after 8 years we no longer have low Regen braking. I have not read of anyone having issues with low Regen braking. I also live in the upper Midwest with snow. Simply switch to standard if snow or ice conditions exist. Would like to order number 2 X, but have second thoughts about the...

    Model X vs. Audi e-tron

Forgot to mention the regenerative breaking. No comparison, the Tesla is HANDS far superior to the e-tron. You should never have to replace brakes on the Tesla. To get the regenerative braking on the e-tron you have to activate the paddles every time you drive. Otherwise, the e-tron in automatic...

    Model X vs. Audi e-tron

We have both the X and the e-tron. The Audi is typical Audi, but the technical part is way behind the Tesla. I find the technical aspect to be a lot more frustrating than the Tesla. Charging at Electrify American is not easy to navigate through. Plus, setting up the home charging, I had to buy...

    Market politics

Does anyone remember from 2008 to 2016 our national debt went from 10 trillion to 20 trillion. Oh, we can blame Trump for that , also....

    My X after 60 days.

I feel there is a need to defend Tesla. I took delivery of P100D X in Feb ‘17 and my son received his S in December. My only issue has been the key fob. The other fob works, so that’s a suppliers issue. Other than that the car has been perfect. The car has been in South Dakota for the last...

new model X actual reliability, if you live far from a service center

Took delivery on my x Feb 2017 (P100D) With 6,800 miles presently. There have been absolutely no issues except the 2ed row seat belt which has yet to be inspected. Guys, this is an assembly line which should have a great deal of consistency. This is an incredible auto.

    Sheepskin covers

Checking to see if anyone is using sheepskin covers. We’re using them in a airplane and they seems really nice. Got them from Rocky Mountain Sheepskin.

    ICE parking in Sioux Falls

The Sioux Falls Supercharger was recently activated and with a planned charging event last Sunday at 4 pm, I found all 8 stalls filled with ice autos. I had previously made three trips by the HiVee site to check the progress never seeing autos parked there. A possible recommendation would be to...

    Squeaky Windows...

You can go to Home Depot and pick up a silicone lube in the plumbing supplies. Rub a THIN layer on the rubber seal —will work and not harmful to the rubber. Drive save

Wow, white tail deer with wings

Amazing how stable the S was. Had cruze control on at 71 mph. Did not have time to break. 5 miles from where I needed to be.

Is Model X's efficiency really this bad?

    2017 X P100 D ----1073 miles, Vossen forged 20" wheels 319 kw. Combined miles in Phoenix and on 101.

Wow, white tail deer with wings

Had a scary event the other night, hitting a white tail deer (large) doe. She hit the front end of the S. Probably more damage than appears, but most impressive was how stable the car was. The deer went directly over the top of S. The other thing, my car was in Omaha for maintenance, and this...

Happy Days with the Big Boy

Ordered a X P100D on Dec 16, picked up the car at Tempe Az today. Wow, impressive and appears to be perfect. The crew at Tempe are professional and are excited to be there. By the way, bought the stock about 4 years ago---calling it a free car!!! Murdock
