Wait a minute,,,,, ended up driving 230 miles to a service center, as my car is in South Dakota. it didn’t make any difference what mode the car was in it indicated the gearbox issue. Anyway, after the service the first 100 miles,, no issues, then the gearbox came back on and has been on since...

2022 Model S Plaid "gearbox fluid service"

My 2022 X Plaid recently had a “gearbox fluid” alert on my dash. I had read that others and myself had the “chill” mode on. I changed to a sport mode and immediately eliminated the grearbox alert. Great car and has crazy acceleration.

Tesla Model Y build quality, manufacturing refinement and assembly

👍 Eto,,,, exactly my thought on the “Y”. We gave up on a Audi-Etron after 8 months. There is very little EV charging available for EV’s the ones that are available, small percentage work!!! To the tire kickers, please do your research, and ask,,,,, why do I see sooooo many Tesla’s on the road!!!

Tesla overview and experience on CS? - Your Views

Well, driving my ‘17 X 9,000 miles this past year, I always ask people at charging stations how they like their cars.. Have yet to find “one” person to say they dislike their Tesla. Today the former CEO of GM claimed to have serviced 11,000 this past year??? I have a friend in the upper Midwest...

Model X delivery delayed; anyone else?

Soooooo, ordered a XPlaid last fall, deliver date is April. I received a call from the factory stating my 5 seater needs to be changed to 6. My contact gave me his e-mail and said I need to let them know the next day. Have not been able to reach him after several attempts. So, reading other...

All set for home charging - Our story for 14-50 install.

I think everyone needs to determine the number of miles per day. I personally charge at 16A. This is 10 miles per hour. Most people would likely not drive more than 60 miles per day plus it will save on the car’s battery.

My Model Y LR delivery date has been moved up!

Ordered my wife a Y in September’21 and initI ally indicated June ‘22. Just got message to expect delivery Dec 19 - 31 ‘21. probably due to the Feds rebates. So,,,,, cancel order and give up $250.00 then reorder and wait until ‘23?..

Makes me sad to hear many reviews of the New S complain about build quality!

Driving a ‘17 P100 X and still like it enough to just ordered another X plaid. For those who are thinking of giving up on Tesla,,,, my local new car dealer selling almost all US made car has a empty car lot. Also, those jumping ship,, if your are driving in a local area, other EV are ok, but...

Tesla removes regenerative braking strength option

Why after 8 years we no longer have low Regen braking. I have not read of anyone having issues with low Regen braking. I also live in the upper Midwest with snow. Simply switch to standard if snow or ice conditions exist. Would like to order number 2 X, but have second thoughts about the...

    Model X vs. Audi e-tron

Forgot to mention the regenerative breaking. No comparison, the Tesla is HANDS far superior to the e-tron. You should never have to replace brakes on the Tesla. To get the regenerative braking on the e-tron you have to activate the paddles every time you drive. Otherwise, the e-tron in automatic...
