Recommended Paint/Body Repair Shop in Seattle?

My multi-color red Model 3 acquired a key scratch, no body damage, just before I finished wiring in the security system. Can anybody recommend a good shop in Seattle that can make the deep scratch go away? I live on the North Olympic Peninsula, so a shop closer to the Sound would be more...

MASTER THREAD: V 2019.40.1.1 170kW charging, Neural Net for Auto Wipers, Auto Lane Change quicker

is the 32 in your software versions correct? This is an honest question and not meant as an insult. I was on 2019.36.2.1 and in the middle of Thanksgiving Dinner got an update to 2019.36.2.3 I've no idea what came in the 2019.36.2.3 update because the Release Notes were the same as for the...

How to use the turn signals well?

My 1 year old Model 3 was delivered with screwy turn signal behavior. Tesla glass: corners were cut

I have a 2001 BMW X5 that I've driven almost the distance from the earth to the moon. I've had to replace the Beemer's windscreen glass about once every two or three years. I've had my Model 3 for a year--no windscreen dings or cracks. And we had a miserable winter last year, the type of weather...

[Mac] How to Format USB into 2 Partitions for DashCam and Music

How does one successfully format a thumb or an SSD drive to FAT32 on MacOS? Disk Utility fails to offer FAT32 as a formatting (Erase) option for the two thumb drives and the one Samsung SSD that I’ve attempted to format.

    Anyone regret white interior?

Almost 10K miles; the white interior still looks great. Love the open, airy feel. I'm a red head with a hyper sensitivity to light. I've not noticed reflections from the white dash strip, or anything else related to the interior's white color. I do get lots of compliments on the white interior.

    Quick question

I've had my Model 3 for a year now. Some time after I began using Auto Pilot, my car was driving on the highway (My hands were on and following the moves of the wheel) when a speeding pickup tried to merge into my lane, from the left, before he'd completely passed me. My Model 3 noticed the...

Ferry ride disables shift into D

I live on the Olympic Peninsula, frequently take ferries across Puget Sound, my Model 3 occasionally fails to go into Drive (only 3 times in a year), and so I've rethought my old ICE habits of never turning on my car until the last minute. I seriously dislike all of the petrol fumes that the...

    Software update

I've had my Model 3 since late Sept 2018 and have received all but three software updates over 4G cell service. I sent email to Tesla and asked about the need for wifi service to receive updates. They relied that wifi allowed faster downloads, but all my 4G downloads have happened in a bit over...

Another fatal crash blamed on AutoPilot

If this is the crash when the Model 3 drove under the truck in Delray Beach, FL last March... Did anyone actually read the NTSB'S (short) official report? It reports that Auto Pilot was ACTIVATED 10 SECONDS BEFORE THE CRASH. "Released on Thursday, the NTSB’s report stated that, 'The driver...
