6 weeks later and 96 hours in the shop, the memory was replaced. You lose all of your settings: No profiles. No home. No trips. No garage door openers. Wiped clean. Probably spent an hour getting everything back. We didn't have any problems between visits. The reflashing made things better.

How long does the replacement daughter board take to order? Mine still has not shipped. Brought the car in with a black display. They reloaded the software, gave me the car back, and said to come back when the part is available. Lots of random behavior like parking sensors not making a sound.

My heat worked, turn signals did not work. Verified from outside the car. Changing lanes on 520 on the way to the service center was a little awkward with the carpool lane. They also deleted everything, working OK for now.

Got the car back yesterday, they reloaded the software. The part is at least 2 weeks out.

I have had good luck with the North Bend location. It has a park and walking trails next door. They are great about fixing flats.

I have the AS695 AutoSock . Used it once or twice, they are still good. These will not last as long as chains. I consider the "ripped to shreds" a feature. It is better to have the AutoSock rip to shreds than to have the chains "rip your beautiful Tesla to shreds". They are way easier to get on...

I have an older RWD Tesla model S. I like the Tire Socks a lot better than chains. My experience is that the pass closes before AWD cars need chains. On our AWD gas guzzler I only use chains for driving around our neighborhood before the plows come through.

Les Schwab told me I needed alignment work, but they couldn't do it. So I took my Model S to the Service Center in Bellevue... They ended up replacing the motor under warranty and didn't charge for the alignment. I had no idea the motor needed replacement.

Or worse, someone gets hurt.
