I've lived in New England for 45 years. I have never done anything to my brakes for winter, and my brakes haven't ever had any problems. I have friends in town that have Teslas that are older than mine that also haven't ever done anything to their brakes, and theirs are fine.

What's even more infuriating is that they put new front tires on the car in September and never mentioned anything about the brakes.

Just got told by my Tesla repair center that I owe $1100 because the front brakes on my 3 year old model X (only 23k miles) are falling apart. Evidently they got rusted and the brake pads came apart and so it needs new rotors and pads. The repair tech said the brakes are supposed to get...

@ShawnA - yeah, trailers are a PITA if I ever want to like... back up, or park in a normal spot. Not nearly as handy as a folding bike rack. But... definitely requires less welding than the other option :)

We have 3 kids and 5 bikes when we want to go somewhere biking. Are there hitch mount solutions that people have tried and liked for 5 mostly full sized bikes? (24" to 28") There's a few out there that I see but I don't know how well they actually work and if they'd be too heavy for the Model X...

I called the Mass RMV's Excise tax line (857 368 8180) and they asked for a window sticker, which of course I don't have because I bought it online, so I sent them my order agreement (via email while I was on the phone - super handy), which doesn't actually say MSRP anywhere because.... well...
