Question: Rear Screen audio in the 2021 Model S LR

It would be great if you can mirror the display too to ease credential input for the supported apps like Netflix Et Al. Even better would be an iOS plug in for Car play. Add BT and you have a real multi user infotainment system. Right now the rear infotainment system is essentially useless...

Popping Noise - Front Wheel Area

Is anyone else experiencing this with their Model S? When backing out of garage with a hard right turn, I hear a pop and a slight displacement on the driver front wheel as if it hit ice and slipped a few inches. Passengers in the back seat can feel it. I drive a plaid. Scheduled a SC...

Vendor Refresh Model S LR/Plaid : Winter Tire Option

Hi Jamie @SignatureWheel I'm traded my 2016 Model S P90D with a plaid. Can I use my 19" winter tire and wheel set on the plaid? I have the 21” performance wheels and tires on her now. Thanks in advance for the help.

    FSD for lower Safety Scores?

If you’re disappointed often then perhaps a Tesla isn’t a good fit for you?

    FSD for lower Safety Scores?

I’m finding this safety score as a prerequisite to download software that I paid for frustrating. I find that the auto pilot gets confused at merges and other corner cases that force me to take over and then my score gets dinged. Some one stops short in front of you and your score gets...

    Model S LR 2021 review from a long-time Model S owner

Great write up @headcase. I agree with most of your observations. Pretty impressive for not owning the car. Battery chemistry and resulting range plus recharge time efficiency are major improvements. I’ll trade my Plaid in when Tesla starts to ship Plaid with 4680s. I want the 500 mile range.

Major Yoke concerns from Consumer Reports initial review

These guys did a great job going over the yoke and capacitive controls. Being a plaid owner for two weeks, my experience is different from theirs. I’ve driven a Model S since 2012 and the Plaid is by far the best on every level of performance, range, control, comfort, thrill of driving etc...

    P100D owner thing of Plaid

Agree on the left turn signal; it’s having to move your thumb slightly down the yoke. I’m fine with right. But it’s like a new OS, takes a little time to get use to a new man-machine metaphor.

    P100D owner thing of Plaid

I’m a plaid driver and I too was concerned about the yoke. It took my about 3 sec to get use to it and about 10 to love it. Visibility of the road and dash is much better and control is so much more tighter. I traded a 2016 P90D with ludicrous and paid nearly the same for the plaid as I did...

New 2021 Model S battery cells & packs

Thank you @MP3Mike. So I’ll get another 50 miles of range in the winter when I change to 19” snows and wheels. This is what I was looking at:
