On the way back home from the eclipse my wife and I stayed at the Homewood Suites in Amarillo on April 9. The storm cells were awful. We prayed for no hail.

We ended up with great skies for the eclipse in Hillsboro Texas. It was cloudy in the morning but as it got closer to the eclipse there were large patches of clear blue sky. We met a couple who flew from Paris to see the eclipse. .

Yep; I charged there at 11:50am today. Hundreds of cars and virtually no parking but luckily there were a couple of open spots for EV charging.

I stopped by and took some photos of the Tesla superchargers. Sorry about the poor photos; I was being yelled at by the security guard for being in a construction zone. Good location; away from parking and away from the gas traffic.

I was there around 218pm today; about half are not open but there is a nice drive through if you have a trailer.
