I also called my delivery location (Paramus) just now and they told me that the state said it was based on when the order was placed. I am supposed to take delivery on 12/18. When I asked for more details, they could not answer at the time since they are learning this news as we are.

My Model 3 (LR AWD Deep Blue Metallic 18" White Interior) just got a VIN! My updated delivery date narrowed to December 14 - December 20 I'm in NJ with delivery going to Paramus.

My Model 3 also updated delivery info (LR AWD Deep Blue Metallic 18" White Interior) on the website. Old Dates: Dec 4 to Dec 31 New Dates: Nov 21 to Dec 4 Just saw it when checking tonight. No VIN yet. Will call Monday to speak to someone for an update. I'm in New Jersey.
