FSD City release date keeps getting pushed?

Even better, it also claimed this ability in April 2019, a good six months before smart summon was even publically released.

    Tasker plugin is awesome!

You can do some really cool things with Tasker. Back in the days when I used to commute, I had it set so it would automatically turn on climate when I got to the station before mine (using phone location), so it was nice and warm by the time I got off the train and to my car. It would also check...

Recommend me cool looking aftermarket wheels for all season stock tires?

I've had the R241s in space grey since October, look great and not had any problems. Not sure if it's the tires (Conti Viking Contact 7) or the rims but they are definitely less rashy than the stock combo - tire is ever so slightly proud of the rim.

And this is why I don't buy black cars :)

    M3 is a BMW, people

I don't think the BMW's themselves are offended, just their owners.

Premium connectivity in SR+ After installing 2020.4.1

HW3, Aug 2019. Have sat maps/live traffic. I assume you saw the posts further up the thread about needing to toggle them on using the icons in the bottom right of the map? You may need to hide the music bar to see the icons.

    RWD LR Order?

It says right on the order page: "Standard range production is expected to begin early 2021"

    RWD LR Order?

tl;dr: AWD will likely supercharge quicker in cold climates as the motors are used in a deliberately inefficent mode to warm the battery up to optimal charging temperature. RWD has less capacity to generate heat since there is only one motor. Evidence is anecdotal but backed by sound logic.

    RWD LR Order?

Anyone planning on longer trip in cold climates would do well to read the thread linked below on a less well known benefit of AWD over RWD. For me it's probably more of a selling point than the traction and acceleration aspect of AWD. Slightly off topic for the thread, but just in case anybody...

    Interest in a M3 swap?

Good luck finding a swap - otherwise, perhaps look into a coloured wrap if colour is your main concern.

The cost to fill my Tesla each day

In Ontario at least, some of the fees are fixed (i.e. you pay the same fee regardless of usage) and some are variable (e.g. loss factor, tax). It's surprisingly difficult to find the answer to the question 'how much extra will I pay if I use an additional kwh of electricity' without being a...

Glass roof toughness when removing ice?

When did anybody mention snow? I agree snow flying off cars is incredibly annoying/dangerous and should be removed, but that involves a brush. I'm assuming you aren't concerned about a brush damaging your roof. I had assumed you were talking about the typical winter frost that covers windows and...

Glass roof toughness when removing ice?

It's never even occurred to me to scrape ice off the roof. Why would you need to? Hardly crucial for visibility and the cabin heat will melt the ice soon enough once you get going.

Tesla Mud Flaps / Paint Protection Kit

I stopped by the Oakville SC yesterday - no mud flaps for old cars yet, they are still holding them back for any new cars that come without the flaps. They said to check back at the end of the month. Should have them on just in time for the end of winter...
