A few of my sofas at home are in Alcantara. It's actually quite resistant to dirt and even spills, but then i have no kids/pets etc around. But it is very cozy.

DITB, that is not a bad idea. If they do that as a surcharge for Tesla owners in paid parking lots, it's not such a bad deal. I just hope they do not partner up with one of those car-washing companies and make it a truly independent operation.
