Real Time Delivery Question: Is This Misalignment / Paint Defect too Much?

Those paint defects look horrible. I would refuse delivery and not even ask Tesla to fix them as that would just lead to more headaches.

    Another round of price cut?

Funny how they itemize the different types of market adjustments like it's going to justify why they are screwing customers over.

    Another round of price cut?

People should already expect that their new car will depreciate immediately, so being upside down on a loan for a 100k car with little to nothing down should be no surprise. Most of these people thought they could drive a Tesla and make a profit after a short period of ownership, but the...

Would <$80k MX get US tax credit?

That may be the case, but that would be based on the current Model S/X customer base that are buying S/X for 90k+. It might not be the case if those cars were in a lower pricing tier because the customer base would then consist of 3/Y customers stretching their budgets to buy S/X. For example...

Model X price cuts- yet again

Tesla's problem isn't that the cost of the Model X is too high. It's just not far ahead of its competitors like it was 5 years ago. The sub-80K market is fine. People are buying Model Y's. The only reason to drop Model X prices is would be to get rid of the current version of the car that just...

Would <$80k MX get US tax credit?

Tesla doesn't need to make the Model X tax a sub-80k car. It wouldn't solve anything. That's what the Model Y is for. If you've made up your mind to buy a Tesla but can't afford an X, you're most likely buying a Y. Why lower the price for the X when they can just sell you a Y at higher...

Model X price cuts- yet again

With the real-time data they have on ordering behavior as they adjust pricing, they'll eventually see that this latest revision will further slow sales on S/X. They're basically behaving like an online retailer.

For Sale: 2022 Tesla Model X Plaid Fully Loaded ($129990) with 7200 miles

With HW4 and Radar v2 out, this is going to be a tough sell anywhere near the asking price. The mods are great, but it's all about the tech for Teslas. The are lots of Tesla owners that upgrade to newer models as often as they upgrade their phones and other tech devices. On top of that, Tesla...

Are 2023 MX Plaid's worth all their headaches?

Just go to a local Tesla store and check one out. Also keep in mind that you have the option to reject the car at delivery if you find it unacceptable. Regarding the doors, you'll find posts in these forums discussing issues with the X's doors from every model year, so whatever you see isn't...

    Another round of price cut?

What's interesting is that most of the people selling their used '20-'22 cars seem to have no idea what Tesla is going on new cars. Can't believe how many used Teslas are asking more than brand new ones despite Tesla having no supply shortages.

    how reliable is AutoTrader messaging?

A lot of Autotrader listings never get taken down after the car is sold. There are a lot of old listings on there.

You can try to switch onto something they have in inventory if they'll honor the previously quoted trade-in value.

Just get pre-approved with your credit union and forget about the Tesla financing. Credit pulls for loans within a 14 day span count as a single pull anyway.

Well, now it's all about when they'll start delivering with HW4.
