Annual license plate renewal fees - how much in your state?

In Massachusetts, the license renewal fee is only $60 for 2 years. We also have to have an annual inspection for $35. Towns also charge excise (property) taxes on cars, but it's the same formula for all towns. Excise tax is $25 per $1000 of assessed value. Assessed value is a % of...

MASTER THREAD: Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, How to Maintain Battery Health

I'm aware of the warranty. Is that to say that Tesla has never replaced a battery with over 70% of capacity even if they detected some type of fault? Anyway, Alan explained in the model Y thread ( where I initially posted incorrectly) that I'm most like at around 10% degradation which is at...

2021 model Y scan my Tesla battery size

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm reasonably confident I have a 72.5 kWh (310) pack. My car was a June 2018 delivery. I never saw any range change when others were reporting increases to 322/325 via software changes. So probably not great... but could be worse:rolleyes:

MASTER THREAD: Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, How to Maintain Battery Health

Are there any guidelines for when you should consider asking service to check for battery issues? i.e. 10% of degradation is normal, but if you are at 20% already you might have an actual problem. I have a 2018 LR RWD 3 with 23,800 miles: I did Alan's calculation for battery capcity and came...

2021 model Y scan my Tesla battery size

I just checked mine and have the following numbers: 202mi*252Wh/mi / 78% = 65 kWh. This is for a 2018 Model 3 LR RWD with 23,800 miles. Sounds pretty crappy. The projected 100% range as shown on the phone app is 276mi. Would this be in the range of normal degradation, or should I be...

    Rear under seat vents

My brother did this when he was 6 with a pill he was supposed to take. My parents actually took him to the emergency room. I think it was mainly just to scare him though. Pretty sure it would have dissolved eventually.

    Supercharger - Tilton, NH

I stop at the diner there on occasion. I usually just turn right and hook a u-turn at the next light half a block down. There’s a turn arrow and no no I-turn sign at the light. I find it a bit less risky than turning left directly, and not much longer.

    Supercharger - Woburn, MA

As an outsider, I've noticed an almost an absurd unwillingness of locals to refer to 95/128 as I-95.

There could still be hook up requirements on the power feed side that aren't done. It probably took another week or two up at Ashland from when they reached this point until the chargers were turned on. I'm assuming the utility also needs to get involved so probably at their mercy as well.

Occasional Error Code from M3 - Driver pillar camera blocked

The fix is to run the air conditioner to lower the humidity in the car. Works pretty quick the couple of times I’ve had it happen. I wonder if it’s more likely to occur with the air on recirc. I never bother with recirc, so don’t know.

    Supercharger - Burlington, MA

The pizza from the Burlington location certainly doesn't compare to the New Haven location, which is debatably the best pizza I've had anywhere. It stands up pretty well on it's own though. Definitely above average for chain restaurant Pizza.

    Supercharger - Burlington, MA

Yes, but it's only on the second level. As far as I know there are no outside entrances. I'm assuming there are plans to redevelop the first floor eventually.

    Supercharger - Tilton, NH

Not sure if it's the same crew (or utility) as in Ashland, but that one went really fast this summer after the equipment was on site.

    Supercharger - Burlington, MA

For what it's worth I think the original location was further away from where mall patrons would want to park, and less like to get ice'd. That end really is no man's land after Sears closed. Not sure it matters all that much though.

Major 2021 Model X refresh pending [Update: Unveiled January 27, 2021]

I'm a fan of the updated interior. Not completely sold on the steering yoke thing, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now. I was kind of hoping they were going to get rid of the Falcon Wing doors. They're cool and all, but I would prefer to have the extra head room of a glass roof...
