Are you still on the original battery pack with your 2012-2015 Model S?

Where did you get those stats? TESSIE or some other software? 2015 S70 90k miles Original Battery. 204 on GOM if do 100% charge. I think I got 232 new. Tessie said the Bat was 10% degraded. Mostly Supercharger in early years but now home charged at 40amps (9.6kW) and work charged at 30A...

Walk away door locks (home) - Alarm triggers every time!

Still problematic in our 2017 MS. Just woke up all the neighbors at 5:30 AM on a Sunday trying to get an early start :-( thanks to all those who have posted. Definitely seems to be related to summon – which I used to go in and out of the garage. It will happen when I’m loading the car. I will...

    2015 Model S 12 Volt Battery Replacement

I recently got a warning that the 12V Battery on my 2015 Model S RWD was dying. I started looking into my options and decided to post my experience as the 2015 Model S seems to be a slight anomaly. My battery is hidden way up on the passenger side next to the wheel well. Electrified Garage...

    12v battery issue

I know this thread is old but what you did was short out the battery! BOTH of those points are positive connections. It was VERY stupid of Tesla to leave the passenger side one BLACK as it is the cable connected to the POSITIVE of the battery. The other side has a fuse in it. The OP was...

Quick fire Tesla M3 jacking & MOT Mechanics guide

Thanks for posting. Can you tell us where you found it? Would like to get it for a Model S. (mostly the same but if they have it for an S). As an aside, I bought some inserts/pucks to put in the jack points and give them to my mechanic when I have them lift the car (and when I use my own...

    12V Battery Replacement

The issue is LiFePO4 batteries will get roasted it you try to charge them at below freezing temps. Most have a BMS (battery management system) and the good ones will have a temp sensor and not let that happen. I don’t know if ohmmu batts have it but valid wuestion

    2017.42.1 94435ee

I've had the interesting experience of using a loaner model X P100D with AP2 using the 2017.42 software as compared to my late 2015 Model S 70 with AP1. Did a 20 hour trip on freeway and back roads. I must say, I like my own car with AP1 better! It was not awful but it seemed a bit more...

6th drive unit replacement and more

Gosh I just read this whole post - how distressing that Elon hasn't called you personally. Maybe he's in a bad mood after having the Space X rocket blow up on the launchpad (I could see the smoke from my house - 20 miles downwind:-( Our late 2015 single motor RWD S70 has had no problems...
