Buyer Beware: Door Seal Kit Wind Noise Road Noise Reduction

This is the one that DirtyTesla reviewed and it should still be on his YouTube channel. I have the kit in my garage that I bought over the winter months and I'm waiting for it to warm up a little more before installing mine...

Are my headlights misaligned? Front bumper?

Yep, mine (Aug 2019 purchase) were the same and the St. Louis SC said mine was within specs as well and that they wasn't even going to try and make them look a little better. I also looked at others in their sales lot and about half looked like mine and others were better seated within the...

    Mobile adapter for this plug?

It appears to be a Leviton, if I read that correctly, shown in the bottom of his picture. Since overheating is a problem does anyone think he should change this out without something more reliable and safer?

    Mobile adapter for this plug?

EVNation is correct. Here's another location to check out...NEMA 10-50P to 14-50R Adapter for EV – EVSE Adapters They have it in 2 ft. ($39) and 10 ft lengths. ($59). Plus they have long extension cords if you ever need them.

Car and Drivers 6-month review of a 2019 Model 3

You're correct... the article did not state 'every stop'. I interpreted that after reading that particular paragraph and using my best guess cause of their slight about time efficiency.

Car and Drivers 6-month review of a 2019 Model 3

I get it that they are a car magazine and are going to do the review how they see fit but they way I read it makes it sound like they were surprised that when charging to 100% doesn't make your travels very efficient time wise. I'm not an expert like most, but that kind of thinking has been...

Car and Drivers 6-month review of a 2019 Model 3

I'm not saying they (or anyone else) should not charge to 100% but just to expect it'll take a little longer when topping off the battery (i.e. going from 80-100% slows down significantly). On the few trips that I have taken I'll drive down to around 20-25% and then charge back up to around 75...

Car and Drivers 6-month review of a 2019 Model 3

I'm sure there are several things that stick out in this article but I noticed two right away. One... why are they charging to 100% at Tesla Superchargers at every stop. From all that I've read that's not an efficient way to charge on long trips. Two... they list the battery capacity spec at...

Is the Model 3 on death row because of the Model Y?

I'm pretty sure the Tesla Model 3 is safe and not on death row if they are cranking out several hundred thousand in China and once Giga Berlin is built they'll be cranking out several hundred thousands their as well.

    Supercharger - Richmond, IN

Yeah, there seems to be some disconnect between Tesla's SC Map and Supercharge.info website. Tesla list 12 SC stalls at up to 150kW and Supercharge.info list 8 SC stalls at up to 250kW. It'd be nice to have a little better consistency but I know that's expecting a lot. At least it's available...

Charged my TM3 at home to 310 miles

My 2019 Model 3 LR AWD (bought in Aug 2019, now with 7600 miles) with an EPA range of 310 miles just received the 2020.12.5 software upgrade. After checking out the latest featured I checked the Energy/Distance on my car and I noticed that my Range distance is 10 miles less after the upgrade...

    Supercharger - Richmond, IN

The Richmond Indiana SC site is now officially a Red Pin marker on Tesla's SC map. It is listed as 12 Superchargers, available 24/7, up to 150kW. Address: Meijer 2507 Chester Boulevard Richmond, IN 47674

Touchless carwash is safe right? Flooding! (sorry it's wordy)

I agree with Garlan. Nothing wrong with Touchless Car Washes. I just choose to use the ones without any rails and having to put my car in neutral.

Touchless carwash is safe right? Flooding! (sorry it's wordy)

Same here. I take my 2019 LR AWD Model 3 through a Touchless Car Wash here locally and you just pull up to the center of a concrete pad and the car wash sensors let you know when to stop. The ones with any type of rails that pulls you along would not be advised for Tesal cars. Like Knightshade...

    Supercharger - Richmond, IN

The Tesla SC map still has this SC as a gray pin versus a red pin to indicate that it's good to go. But I just checked the Supercharge.info website and it now list this SC as open effective on April 8th. It lists as an 8 stall SC topping out at 250kW. Maybe the folks who update the Tesla SC map...
