In reference to the HVAC, it will activate on the settings it was on when you were last in the car. If you know the morning will be chilly, then turn up the temp a few degrees before getting out and the heat will turn on. Same for A/C. Unless you’re in a very cold climate and the car is outside...

You could just turn off the HVAC and mute the radio. The screen will stay on, but it uses very little power.

YMMV, I spoke to someone who got an Austin LR and they reported their center console is handle/latch like the Fremont models. They may only have the magnetic handles on the SR, or, as Tesla do, they just ran out of parts for the magnetic latch that day.

The first patch update after the holiday update fixed my sentry mode.

Yes. I get event notifications, but nothing shows up in the viewer. The last event was about 3 weeks ago (until I tried reformatting it, with no luck). Dashcam clips save just fine and can be viewed just fine, but Sentry clips don’t save.
