    Beware paying with personal check

Bumping an old thread but tesla just somehow deposited the same check in march of 2018 they deposited originally sept of 2017. BofA didnt catch it or do anything and Tesla moves me back and forth from finance to delivery specialist. I couldnt believe it!

New Superchargers Proposed in Greensboro and Raleigh, NC

There were a few Tesla branded shipping containers on the side of the target building at north hills on Friday. If they are there on Monday I’ll snap some pics. Lots of construction activity where @asucompguy’s pics were as well

    Lease vs Buying (with numbers)

Its hard to see leasing a tesla today unless, as @SoCal Jimmy pointed out, you get one of the big discounted inventory models. Even then its a tough decision. If you do get a solid lease deal, the saving grace is i believe you can transfer the lease to another person if you need to get out of...

Fantastic Tesla 90D Lease deals for someone ready to jump on it now -

It’s a factor of all your numbers so hard to say. Price, price after discount and any money down, and how many miles on the lease. If you are ok sharing those, and how many miles are on the one you are getting,if any, happy to plug them into my little home grown calculator I’ve been using for...

Fantastic Tesla 90D Lease deals for someone ready to jump on it now -

Looks like they are using approx 58-59% based on my quote. Mine has 1000/miles and has an exact 58% residual on a 24/month (12k miles) assuming still the +7500 added on. So with the 7500 its 64.89%

You were pretty spot on. It was about 10/more a month for the 24 month lease but, of course, on a zero down lease its 65/more a month! The money factor is just a killer on these leases, wish they had a buy down!

Fantastic Tesla 90D Lease deals for someone ready to jump on it now -

Ah. My 90d with a 21k discount is scheduled to be in next week. I started with a 3year lease but decided to buy. Im wondering what a 24 month lease would look like though. My 3 year was about 780 with about 6k upfront.

Are you guys saying they are doing 2 year leases again? If so, any ideas on terms/payments?

    Zero down leases

Agreed that the high residual is great for people who love to lease. In this case, and honestly the numbers are not clear, I believe Tesla uses the 7500 to inflate the residual. Assuming that’s the case, as compared to purchasing where you see directly in the bottom line, you lose that and in 3...

    Zero down leases

My guy said they are requiring the acquisition and fees. So in most states, if you put 2500 as deposit, you'd be covered on delivery. From what i can tell, if you have any intention of buying at the end of the lease, it makes no sense at all to do a lease on a tesla in any circumstance today...

    Zero down leases

I think we are saying the same thing or at least similar! With a lease when you put a down payment, or cap cost reduction, it lowers your payment but since your residual is the same the risk is losing that down payment if something where to happen.

    Zero down leases

Down payment in a lease just lowers your payment. Doesn't affect money factor or residual. If your car is totaled you lose the money. Most highly recommend putting as little down on a lease as possible.

    Zero Down Leases

I should have official terms on my updated sheet either today or tomorrow. Unofficially I have a 90d lease(from that recent thread) around 105kmsrp zero down, 12k miles, 910/month. 2k due at signing and that includes first month. .0021 money factor Model X 90D 5YJXCBE28HF046684 | Tesla That...
