used p100ds now are dirt cheap. What's going on?

So you don't own a P100D nor are you interested in buying one and are madly in love with the new Model 3. We get it. Why are you in this thread again?

used p100ds now are dirt cheap. What's going on?

So your idea of value in a thread about inexpensive P100D's is the all-new entry-level Model 3 that's not only far more expensive than the car in question on this thread but will also lose half of it's value over the next 3 years and is 50% slower from 0-60. Got it. You sure you don't own a...

used p100ds now are dirt cheap. What's going on?

Your statement comes off as a Model 3 fanboi, especially when you start comparing a brand new Model 3 Performance in a conversation about used Model S's and why the P100D specifically is so affordable. The Model S P100D was the $150k+ flagship that showcased ALL of an innovative car...

What kind of a car do you drive again?

    2024; Tesla's Tipping Point?

Free market is exactly the reason why. Ford only got in the EV game to compete with Tesla. They originally laughed at them and now they're a direct competitor. Don't kid yourself, this is the only reason Ford even bothered getting into the BEV game. If Tesla ceases to exist (again, purely...

100% range on new Model Y LR with 3 miles on it calculates to 301 miles

Really? 304 miles is now "much lower" now? Less than 2% variance is reason to create a thread and get up in arms over? You know that's an estimate, right? Just enjoy your vehicle and searching for reasons to play the victim.

Tinting front side windows only -- est. cost?

That's a bargain compared to what you likely would have paid to have it removed by a professional tint shop and the next owner gets windows professionally tinted already.. win win!

Tinting front side windows only -- est. cost?

$350? That's not much more than they'd be charged for removal in the LA area. If it were me, I'd roll the dice as the odds (despite the two anecdotal posts of unquestionable validity you cited) are in their favor that it'll be a non-issue at the time of turn-in. That said, I don't lease vehicles...

Tinting front side windows only -- est. cost?

It's not an easy process, no. Installers don't like doing it either so it shows in the removal price. I doubt you'll need to remove it for lease return.

    2024; Tesla's Tipping Point?

Hence the word "if" because it doesn't require you to believe they will to agree with the statement. The _only_ reason Ford (and other established manufacturers) even build BEVs is Tesla's recent market share trends. If the disruption ceases to exist they'd no longer have a motivation to hedge...

    2024; Tesla's Tipping Point?

There's zero chance Ford continues making BEVs if Tesla ceases to exist tomorrow.

Tinting front side windows only -- est. cost?

Pricing on stuff like this where you are isn't all that different from the Front Range of Colorado. If anything, you have more competition which helps to keep the prices relatively reasonable. It's trickier in areas that have less competition, even if the cost of living/real estate prices are...

Tinting front side windows only -- est. cost?

Varies from location to location, area by area and is also dependent on what film is used. It can vary quite a bit depending on the combination of those metrics but probably $150-$200 or so would be ballpark. 17% give or take a couple percent will match the fronts to the rears and fall within...

Model X Tax rebate CO denied

That's not the point. You're rolling the dice that you won't get one. When it happens (and it will) the first thing the IRS agent will tell you is that nothing your attorneys or CPA did or told you matters. They'll ask you questions directly and, based on your limited posts here, you're not...
