    Problems with supercharger

It does get better with time. Now I’m about 4 weeks in and can usually seat it on first or second attempt without WD-40. Before I would pull it out and keep re-inserting it. I’ve stopped doing that. I just leave it in and change the angle a bit with more force (sometimes my full body weight). I...

    Thanks I’ll try that.

    Problems with supercharger

Ok any tips on the best angle? I mean I had myself wedge between the curb and the car trying to shove it in and I still couldn’t seat it.

    Problems with supercharger

Just picked up my new model X on Saturday and loving it so far. However, I’m having issues using super chargers. I have no problem plugging into my home wall charger. But I’ve tried four different supercharger stalls and everytime I try to plug in it feels too tight to push in and after I try...

    Frustrated by Financing

Happy to report that after I told the finance guy that I wasn’t happy with the offer he pursued TechCU for me. Got 100% financing at 1.49% Very happy.

    Frustrated by Financing

Yeah my salary is over 250k. I can pull off the down payment I just don’t want to. I don’t like taking from savings. My savings are supposed to be for emergencies. Still waiting on a few other lenders. I will probably do it but annoyed and considering cancelling the whole thing. Thanks for the...

    Frustrated by Financing

No, but I’m even if I charge 25% of my miles on it over 8 years it’s a considerable amount of savings from paying for it. It was more for the warranty, supercharging was a nice bonus.

I know. The battery is the most expensive thing to fix and most likely to fail with thousands of miles

    Frustrated by Financing

I was originally getting a model 3, but with the infinite mile warranty on the X and the free supercharging it is actually cheaper over 8 years to buy the X.

    Frustrated by Financing

Most people who buy Tesla's put the deposit down before knowing financing. They take 30+ days to build so if you get a finance offer when you put the offer down you will end up with a 2nd ding on your credit score and potentially worse offers. They only guarantee the original offers for 30 days...

Good to know. I didn’t get offers from either of them. I will ask my Tesla finance person about them.

    Frustrated by Financing

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m only considering a car this expensive because it’s electric and I commute about 40,000 miles per year and will save a considerable amount on gas. Not to mention the benefit of driving in the carpool lane. I hated the Bolt and due to some of the conveniences of...

    Frustrated by Financing

No. I always knew I had to pay sales tax. But my OA told me down payments range from 5 to 10%. The 20% is a lot more, and I’m honestly considering just canceling my order. We will see what other offers I get

    Frustrated by Financing

Thats frustrating that USAA did that! Did you have large previous auto loans before this one?
