DIY UV Treatment for Yellowed MCU Screen

Update: Couldn't remove the remaining yellow border after using the DIY LED method for a few days. Took it to the SC and they also couldn't remove it. They decided to replace the screen for me since it's still under warranty. ::)

DIY UV Treatment for Yellowed MCU Screen

Got rid of most of the yellow over the weekend but cannot quite cure it 100% (using the LED UV method) the last couple of days. Only thing I noticed is the temperature is lower the last couple of days.. Can lower temperature be the problem?

DIY UV Treatment for Yellowed MCU Screen

Based on your original post, the yellow border you had on your screen is not that dark.. Mine was like tobacco color to begin with, it takes 48 hours (same UV solution you used) and you can still see a slight yellowish hue. I suspect you may need to cure it more to guarantee it will not come back.

Used 2017 Model S being sold as 75 but pictures say 60?

I had.. Purchased as a 60D, Upgraded to 75D and then uncorked.. Uncork only works for AWD Models.

Need help on A-pillar trim removal

Finally got the A-pillar out. In order to release the 2 clips that attached to front speakers grille, Slide a flexible piece of plastic (something like a credit card) in between the speaker grille and the A-pillar, and push the plastic piece towards the A-pillar side, this should release the 2...

Need help on A-pillar trim removal

Appreciate if anyone can give some advice on how to remove the A-pillar trim pieces (the ones with the front tweeter grille on it). I'm having difficulty in releasing the 2 clips that hook onto the dash board speaker trim piece. Hopefully a member here has done that before. Thanks in advance!

I installed the BA door speakers myself and let the professionals installed the NVX subwoofer kit (it's not hard to find a car audio installer in SF Bay area with experiences on Teslas). The install costs $340. Anyone try B.A Design works speakers/sub upgrades?

I have the BA design speakers for front and rear doors. It adds a lot of mids and bit of bass to the base audio system. I then added a NVX subwoofer to the system and it definitely takes care of the bass. Now I'm looking for a pair of nice tweeters to take care of the highs.

Looks like they lowered the price for their MS 4 speakers kit to $350. Sounds like a great deal now!
