First EV was a RAV4-EV back in 2013. After 120K miles (still had ’good’ brakes per Toyota) upgraded to a Model 3 Performance, then a Model Y dual motor. The a Model X long range with 5 seats. (As of this note am awaiting delivery between mid Oct to mid Dec 2022). That first EV gave me the pleasure of driving once again. Yes, a functional range of about 100 had to be reckoned with on trips but the every day driving was terminal to any thoughts of getting another ICE ever again.
