    "Better than people realize"

Heads up display with augmented reality. I’d pay extra for that.

    New screen UI in Cybertruck

For reference. Heavily-manipulated image made from a still shamelessly stolen from a test drive video.

    Grooves in the truck bed?

From other angles I’ve observed on videos and still photos, those black stripes might be inlaid rubber strips to keep the sliding around of cargo to a minimum. Just a guess, this point.

    Undercarriage clearance... just one choice?

At highest: At lowest: I haven’t a single doubt in my mind that user customizable settings will be possible. But, also, keep in mind that this thing sits on nearly 3 foot high tires.

    All Electric Fire Truck

The energy required to move around a fully loaded fire truck would pale in comparison to the energy needed to sustain the engine’s fire pump for an extended period of time. But, could it be done? Sure. I’m not sure there are many roads that would be able to handle the weight of such a vehicle...

Why is more motors better for the average truck consumer?

Out of all the teslas, the trimotor Cybertruck has the lowest cost per miles of range. As has been pointed out elsewhere, with the mass of the double-stacked battery pack, the most efficient and cost-effective way to move that around is with three motors.

Favorite options? I want a snowplow and a winch.

I am estimating that I’m going to need upwards of a 16,000 pound winch. If they could be tied into a 24V or 40V power source, even better.

Sandy Munro on Autoline Daily - Cybertruck

Learning all of this made me understand why the Cybertruck can be sold for a fraction of anything comparable.

    Solar Panel Option

If Tesla can mix in the window solar panel technology that Fisker will be using, along with putting in a PV vault cover, it would be something I’d be very interested in.

Why will you need a Cyber Truck?

In addition to all of the obvious reasons, when I take my TCT through the mountains in southwestern Colorado, they only thing I’m going to hear besides nature is tires crunching on gravel, and my own exhilarated heart rate.

    Cybertruck Battery and Powertrain Discussion

Given the currently calculated price versus miles of range, I think I’ll stick with the trimotor:

What do you plan to tow?

2500 pounds of “go wherever the hell I want to”. And I am damn sick and tired of getting 9 to 10 miles per gallon...

    Cybertruck size comparison render

Both vehicles are nearly identical in width and length. I think the render has the cybertruck too big

4-Wheel Steering a viable option on the Cybertruck?

Added expense aside, the ability for all four wheels to steer would be invaluable on tight mountain road switchbacks, as well as maneuvering through areas with narrow and / or older street designs (Europe). It could conceivably allow the truck to “crab“ much like the rear axle steered tiller on...
