Paint flaws on brand new March 2024 Model Y, Deep Blue Metallic color

Thats how both of my Model 3s have been. One in 2018 and one in 2022.

Weird ChargePoint Electrical Inspection in NJ

Same opinion. I have a 60 amp Tesla Wall Connector in a town home with 100 amp service. I do have a Sense energy monitor and even when purposely trying to overload the house (electric garage heater, dryer, car charging, hvac on, etc), have only gotten close to 100 amps in my home. Sure I would...

    Utah Tesla Owners

Bummed now. I have always hung the second plate in my garage for all my cars. Now I'll have to wait until I replace the car. Still better overall since I wont need to worry about the second offense anymore.

Electrify America Fast Chargers - Huh?

I used my CCS adapter for a roadtrip to Glacier National Park and it was well worth the cost to be able to get there and return. It also happened to be that EA was cheaper than superchargers. Worth it just for that trip. It sits in the trunk a lot more now that EA has gone up so much in price.

    Supercharger - Orem, UT

Used it last night. Wonderful stop. Getting out of that hotel on the hill is a trick. Can't see anything until you pull out.

Does your state charge you a penalty for owning a Tesla?

Utah charges a fee on registration. It is ramping up each year, in 2024 it is $138.50 in addition to the normal registration fees. They have also proposed making it more(it's already more than a car getting 22mpg driving 40k miles per year) AND they are adding another tax on EV charging. It's...

Tried this yesterday. Not online, no power. There is a transformer on the pad though.

Anyone else having issue with remote climate controls lately?

Same here. Car has a great cell signal and full wifi. It just takes so long to wake it up and the app to no respond the last few months. Hopefully they can add more servers to the farm and get this back to working like it used to.

    Cool! Great job finding it.

    Wonky redundant supercharger stops

Trying to teach my 70 year old father how to drive his new Model 3 on a road trip is going to be a real chore with how the Trip Planner has been lately. I hope they fix these weird bugs very soon.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

The sad part is, they dont know that. And Tesla doesnt make it obvious that this is how it actually works. We all know because we are Tesla nerds.

    Wonky redundant supercharger stops

I regularly select the option for "remove charging stops" and make it to my destination with less than 5% without issue. The car seems to want more than 10% on destination randomly.

Supercharger - Nephi, UT - South Main Street

Good point. Tesla advertises 250kW max, but the car can and occasionally does more. I have seen 259kW max on my car.

Correct, it's 350kW per four stalls, but each power unit can steal up to an additional 575kW from another non used power unit. Also, my 2022 Performance Model 3 can charge at 250kW. All Long Range Model 3 and Model Y max out at 250kW.
