Do you have either of these boxes checked in the Homelink settings? I unchecked both because my S would sometimes open or close the garage door when I did not want it to.

I've not found it on either of my Ss (December 2016 and December 2019). I just fold the mirrors in and, turn the wipers off and put the car in neutral. I've not had a problem with the charge port opening.

I've done it several times in my Ss. Yes, seats do need to be folded down. Just make sure you don't stop too quickly or they will join you in the front seat. :)
