Drop in interest in EV's and further Tesla price cuts

Well said, makes me laugh that the same old crowd will blindly 'hate' anyone who may dare to say anything that maybe construed as negative against the Tesla gods.

    Unprovoked road rage...

Believe me, unless the video equipment itself is seized and then forensically examined/calibrated and then the road visited, closed and fully surveyed. the video will not stand in court and entered into evidence as proof of speed. This type of procedure is only used in fatal collisions or...

    Unprovoked road rage...

Agreed, but remember, a prosecution is not a conviction and the burden of proof for dangerous driving is high and conviction rates are considerably lower than the lesser offences. See below extract. (1)For the purposes of sections 1 [F2, 1A] and 2 above a person is to be regarded as driving...

    Unprovoked road rage...

The burden of proof remains high for the offence of dangerous driving, much often these offences are dropped to driving without due care and attention as they are much easier to prove and gain conviction.

    Unprovoked road rage...

Impossible to prove the speed, unless your car was taken to have the speedometer calibrated along with the FPS of your submitted video. Speed alone will constitute enough evidence for dangerous driving, The no insurance will obviously be able to prove, assuming that the registered keeper...

    Unprovoked road rage...

That will not end in a successful prosecution, due to the fact that it will be almost impossible to calculate the speed using that camera angle, even using simple maths on time and distance. You wasted your time.

Tyre Blow Out on 7 mth old Model 3 …. Not happy

I am really not sure what you are expecting people to say. If you are that bothered, take the tyre to a laboratory for it to be forensically examined and if the product is found defective, begin legal action against Pirelli, I feel that you will be wasting your time and huge amounts of money...

Tyre Blow Out on 7 mth old Model 3 …. Not happy

As others have previously stated, this can happen in any car, one of the risks of driving I guess, amongst the many others. No one would want to repeat it but the only way to guarantee it would be to give up driving.

And on Facebook, same person, same incident. Obviously spreading the incident far and wide.

Tyre Blow Out on 7 mth old Model 3 …. Not happy

Pirelli are far from a 'budget' brand and I would say that you have almost certainly damaged the tyre and compromised its integrity at some point before this incident. There are many high end performance car manufacturers that use Pirelli by the way. By the way, there is no fast lane, I assume...

Help - MYP or BMW iX

You are boring me now, read my initial post, I said "I would choose the BMW over my model 3 all day long, completely different car and IMO a different league to the model 3". If you are going to try and quote me, get your facts right, I never said ' an all round better EV', Get over being so...

Help - MYP or BMW iX

I think anyone will accept that the build quality and customer service is light years ahead of Tesla. BMW actually care about their customers for a start. I think you maybe a little Tesla blinded if you see anything different. And just for information, I own a Tesla.
