What's the difference the car will automatically apply the friction brake or the driver will apply it? They can always make that a feature that drivers can disable.

East Coast Supercharger Closures for Dorian

Two of the superchargers in Florida that were on our way from Georgia that we stopped at (Lake City, FL and Ocala, FL) were working just fine even though Tesla was routing around them because of "temporarily closure". That confused hell out of us.

All of that functionality works great with Tesla Autopilot and beyond 60 km/h limit on A8.
