    UK Pricing piss take

I sort of agree. I lived in the US back in the 90s and the comparative £/$ prices for groceries and many other everyday items were much as today - but back then it was almost $2 to the £. Now it’s about $1.20 and that makes a huge difference. But some other things have also gone up like crazy...

    S3XY Knob Deliveries

Yeah, I agree. I'm cutting them some slack! They are doing some cool stuff for sure. I can see that reverse-engineering how the Tesla bus works and dealing with weird behaviour will take a lot of time. S3XY dial wouldn't half the snigger factor!

    S3XY Knob Deliveries

It seems you can access these new features from the buttons or from tiles in the app, but not via the knob. This is a common story - there is a much shorter list of actions available for the knob. I don’t understand why this asymmetry exists - it points to some odd design decisions. They seem...

    S3XY Knob Deliveries

Sadly, the Knob doesn't seem to support it. Why ????

    Harry’s review of the highland…

Not a bad review, but too many factually-incorrect points. He's not a fan of the stalk-less design!

    An interesting journey last night

I've sort of come to the same conclusion. We ran two EVs (Model 3 and ID.3) for a couple of years and managed, but there were definitely some compromises that I'd rather avoid. We now have a PHEV (A3) that gives just about enough range for my wife's daily use, but has a nice 1.5l turbo-charged...

Does the S3XY commander do that ??

    S3XY Knob Deliveries

Got the new release. They've fixed the temperature sync, but only via a circular route via the Tesla mothership and adding the Enhauto app as (another) linked app to my Tesla account. I assume what's happening is this: : Knob => commander => Enhauto phone app => phone 4G connection => Tesla...

    S3XY Knob Deliveries

Well, a few observations now that I've been using my knob for a couple of weeks: Installation Installation was very easy. No real issues. It went smoothly and just worked. Features First the positives: The knob is nicely built and fits very well into the car's interior. It works mostly...

There was an update today that seems to have fixed it. 4.32.0.

    Battery life...

The displayed mileage on the title bar is not a guesstimate based in previous driving behaviour/consumption. It’s the theoretical range based on the EPA rated range using the BMS estimate of charge in the battery. If the number is falling it means the BMS thinks the battery capacity is...

    S3XY Knob (initial impressions)

I agree about the apparent asymmetry of actions across knob and buttons - why? No issues here with excessive deep sleep - the car wakes up as normal.

    S3XY Knob (initial impressions)

Got mine last week and installed it today. It all went very smoothly - apart from the AWOL white plastic clips on the mucket trims, but I can't detect any rattles or obvious slop once re-fitted so I'm not getting excited about that. As others have said though, the device is still light on...
