I have a generation 1 gateway that I no longer need. Not sure if anyone could benefit from it. PM me.

Honolulu SC just completed my MCU2 Upgrade

I had dash cam already, although 2020.8.1 broke it, (still broken in 2020.8.2 and 2020.12.1) -- seems like this was a firmware bug according to others with the same spec as me. AP 2.5, MCU1, FSD upgrade software, but no HW3. But, I appreciate the tip. Will bring a fresh drive with me.

Honolulu SC just completed my MCU2 Upgrade

My 2018 MS, AP2.5, MCU1 (missed MCU2 by 2 weeks) is getting the MCU2 upgrade and FSD HW3.0 upgrade as we speak. I think the only reason I pulled the trigger on this is because of my Model 3. The responsiveness of the UI is so much better. It's obvious that the latest development is focused on...

Referral | Founder Series Powerwall 2

I still reported it on my taxes, and took the 30% ITC for the value + extra installation fees I had to pay (yes, it's tied to solar)

Referral | Founder Series Powerwall 2

My powerwalls were installed in June of 2019. I never got a 1099-MISC, and I even reached out to Tesla to ask about them. No response.

Model X Crash on US-101 (Mountain View, CA)

When was the last time a gun manufacturer was mentioned as being partially at fault when there is a shooting incident? I just don't understand why Tesla or Apple are even mentioned in the NTSB report. Contributing factors? Okay...maybe, but this all rests on the driver. He made the choice to...

Telsa really doesn't want people to come to their service center for service

Troubling for sure, but not the norm (based on my experiences). One thought...with all the legal wrestling in Virginia between the Virginia Auto Dealer Association and Tesla not being allowed to open stores, etc. perhaps Tesla is trying to sidestep a legal hurdle by removing human interaction...

Yellow screen? Force Tesla to Replace it!

UV fix was applied yesterday and the screen looks as good as new. We'll see if it holds up. Fingers crossed.

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

In addition to a few other issues, my driver's side headlight assembly was replaced yesterday. Picked up car today....but the new driver's side signature light (eyebrow) has a distinctly different hue to it. It looks slightly yellow as compared to the bluish hue on the passenger side. They...

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

FYI, the problem isn't specific to the subject vintage. Mine is an early 2018 model and it has had two headlights fall victim. :/

Yellow screen? Force Tesla to Replace it!

Tesla obviously is aware of this problem, which is why they developed the UV fix tool. I don't think it's getting any traction in the media because it is not a safety issue and it is not a performance issue. It is correctly characterized as a cosmetic issue, IMHO. With that said, it IS a...

Yellow screen? Force Tesla to Replace it!

Quick question...that may have been answered in the past 63 pages. Hope not. I'm going in for UV treatment next week. I have an Abstract Ocean cling-style screen protector on my screen. I'm wondering if the UV treatment would be less effective with it in place. It is the HD clear variety.

    Inherent Diminished Value Settlement (Oregon)

My case resolved by settlement. Allstate didn't want it to go to court...as my attorney's fees would keep growing the longer this process went on. They recognized that they were screwed because they made no offer to me within the 30 day window. My attorney explained all of this to them and...
