The form was provided by the Tesla rep helping me with the purchase and trade in. Make sure you order FSD on the new vehicle. The cost of the FSD is handled as a credit on the new vehicle it’s not really a transfer. Check with the person you are dealing with for details.

An update to this old thread. After the latest round of price reductions I was concerned I paid too much for my inventory MX a month ago. But as it turned out the savings for buying the inventory car and the credit for transferring FSD (even with the new lowered FSD price) I still saved $500. Whew!

All is well in MX land. Took delivery and got the credit for FSD. WOW, the new cameras are much better than the old ones. Now to wait until the FSD beta is available.

Still in limbo. Awaiting confirmation of FSD credit on new MX. Tesla removed FSD from my trade in. hoping to conclude today or tomorrow.

Delivery delayed. You must select FSD for the new vehicle. It is not just a straight transfer from one to the other. You order FSD on the new vehicle and then get a credit. Stay tuned.

My delivery is set for tomorrow. I will know for certain at that point. Thanks to all for the responses.

After a visit today to view the MX at a showroom I was reminded that the new cameras have a red mark in the lens but I don’t know if that also means it would have hardware 4.

A little slow posting……life gets in the way of even FSD. Received the FSD beta (10.5) update 12/2 updated over night but didn’t show on the car until some reboots etc. Had a score of 98 for several weeks prior but had increased to 99 a few days before the update. No email or notice from Tesla...
