Anyone interested in this HUD for your model 3

What is an OBD-II Scanner? If this is a stable, reliable way of importing Tesla data, i.e. one Elon can't break with a firmware update, that puts this HUD back on my radar.

Anyone interested in this HUD for your model 3

I just looked at this again/for the first time and noticed it is an interface for smartphones and not our Teslas. I'd love to have a HUD but only as an integration with the car which I'd guess is not forthcoming. I try to avoid dueling interfaces, especially mapping. Will go back to lurking so...

USB music - folder structure? "Embedded" cover art?

Thanks, @FalconFour. Are you saying that art will not be displayed regardless of how we tag/embed?

    2021.12.25.6 update

Yes .. feather the (regenerative) brake. I drove my 2 month old M3 from the Baltimore dealer location to my home in York and never used the actual brake. The first few times I took my foot off of the accelerator, I freaked thinking I had left the parking brake on. :)

How long for Camera Calibration ?

I prefer to show off the 50 to 80 time.

    Phantom braking fixed?

    Ditto. Shadows, too. Disconcerting.

Charge port opens in carwash ... !!!

I was more concerned that the electrons would escape. And I'd be part of their path.

Charge port opens in carwash ... !!!

Quirky, but manageable. Thanks, all. Been going to Q'Roo since 1979, not long after they hacked it out of the jungle.

Charge port opens in carwash ... !!!

OK, I select @PianoAl's answer. You other two need to be returned for regrooving.

Charge port opens in carwash ... !!!

I finished charging at a supercharger and drove a few tenths of a mile to a self serve/manual carwash. I am certain the port door closed after charging and that I didn't arrive with it open. But as I turn around with the wand in my hand from feeding my credit card to the machine, and the nozzle...

    Premium Connectivity Yearly Subscription?

Is there a way to buy Premium Connectivity a full year at a time? I prefer to avoid monthly credit card charges.

2021 wood trim: We don't like it? Why?

The trim is finished with a urethane. Changing to a wax or an oil would require the urethane be removed first to get to the bare wood. That involves sanding and that scares me a bit. Plus the above video looks like there would be opportunities for me to eff it up. I'll probably just...

2021 wood trim: We don't like it? Why?

VINYL?! Aarrgghh .... If I knew how to remove the wood, I would refinish it to make it richer in color. Increase the "saturation" if you are a graphics person.

2021 wood trim: We don't like it? Why?

There are two schools of thought on finishing wood. Some ppl prefer a natural, matte look while others like a glossy and highly finished look. I generally prefer the natural look, but there are instances where I like to see gloss or semi-gloss. Sheen/gloss level aside, I do like the richness of...
