He has a 2015, the wiring is already there. He just needs the steering wheel, heater ecu (spring with wiring for heater ecu) and column.

It would swell the leather like this if it was in that spot for a long period of time, yes.

If I were to guess, it looks like a moisture ring. I’d say someone sat there with wet shorts. Maybe a damp towel or something of that nature.

Is there a trick to getting the heated steering wheel and heated rear seats enabled? I just installed the rear seats, the new column, new steering wheel and new heater ecu behind airbag. Hiwever, I don’t know how to program the car to enable the features. Anyone here able to point me to the...

If anyone is in the Boston area and able to do this fix, please let me know. I recently purchased a p85d and have no idea if the previous owner ever replaced the mcu. So I’d like to proactively swap this with a 64gb chip.
