I agree that it is a lower yield upgrade for AP1 MCU1 cars, but there are those who want to retain their cars for as long as possible (makes financial/sentimental/ethical sense) and would find satisfaction in the MCU2 upgrade -- and hold out hope for future battery upgrades should they be made...

Work order has $150 tax on the upgrade (VA 6% on $2500).

Haven’t had the work done yet. It’s the estimate they send you before the appointment. I suspect it’s just system verbsge but it’s just MCU upgrade and HW3 upgrade.
