    2.0 / 2.5 Roadster / Roadster Sport Tire Thread

The fronts are on backorder (30-50 day wait, so preemptively order). The backs are available now. My backs had the steel banding showing, but fronts still have some life on them, so all is good. I got mine from Tire Rack. You would probably need to replace the fronts every other time in...

    Please Enlighten Me on Alignment

Sector111 is now InoKinetics and their balljoints are the bomb! I've had them in my Roadster for a few years now and love them. Also avoids the need replace the entire control arm, which is super expensive.

    how many roadsters remain?

I always wondered how many "Sport" edition Roadsters were produced? Have looked everywhere and even asked my Tesla Service Center, but no one seems to know...

My roadster's first car show. Lots of Love plus some animosity from a few.

Definitely encountered the "animosity" you mention. Try entering your Tesla into a World of Wheels in the buckle of the bible belt. For 5 years I have entered my 69 Mustang Convertible, which always gets either first or second place. Last year I added a last minute entry with the Tesla, which...

Can a founder's series roadster reservation be a good investment?

Title of this message thread is: "Can a founder's series roadster reservation be a good investment?" This is why I used this particular message thread about comparing a Founder's Series vs. later models. I don't understand the blindness and hostility when all I am doing is pointing out facts...

Can a founder's series roadster reservation be a good investment?

I obviously don't have the time that most of you do in this forum and am just now getting a chance to look back. Funny how the progression went from a great disagreement from a couple of people who seem to know nothing about early Roadsters (yet they own one and I guess are completely blind to...

Can a founder's series roadster reservation be a good investment?

I see that you own a 2008 Roadster and I love those as well. Heck, I love any Roaster, but still here are the... Facts - 0 to 60 of 2008 Roadster was 4.6, compared to 2011/2012 Sport, which was 3.7 (almost an entire second!) Did you know the R80 pack give you a little more voltage, thus 0.1...

Can a founder's series roadster reservation be a good investment?

If you want to get a Roadster in 2020, but knowing Tesla, it may end up being 2021 or maybe even 2022, then you should go for the Founders Edition. If not, I'd say you would have to wait until 2021 or 2022 for sure! However, by then 1.9 sec 0 to 60 may not be the smack down on gasoline powered...

    Battery 3.0 Upgrade

I received a very good, detailed, and intelligent response on the Tesla forum (not to be confused with the Tesla Motor Club's Forum) about the Roadster. I think the point is that the Roadster was originally built using completely different techniques, strategy, philosophy, and tactics. They got...

    Tennessee Tesla Thread

Read my post on the Tesla Forum about Tesla Vs. Volkswagen + Union (or just search "Chattanooga", which is how I found you). This will enlighten you on the issues with a Tesla Service Center being in Chattanooga and why I think there really should be one! I live in Chattanooga! So its just...

    Battery 3.0 Upgrade

I'm from the deep south where there are no Roadsters, so yes, all we have around here are Leafs and they are actually called "Leaf Chargers" (you know, like a Xerox is a copy and Kleenex is tissue paper). Want them to be called Roadster chargers ;)

    Battery 3.0 Upgrade

I have one, but just think the practical use of the battery upgrade should only apply to me :p Yes, I used the wrong word when using "flagship", but I think you know what I mean. I pretty much meant the vehicle that gave Tesla the traction to become the amazing/profitable company it is today...
