    Tezlab & Phantom Drain

    I charged my model 3 to 90% ( ~ 63kWh) on March 16. For 10 days since the last charge-up, I used 18kWh (for 96.6 miles at 186Wh/mile), but the remaining charge is ~ 36kWh (198 miles range left at 182Wh/miles per Energy app on Tesla). So, I lost about 9kWh ( 63 - 18 - 36) due to the phantom...

    automatic stopping for lights

I can't agree more. Not just stopping/slowing down but also turning has a very long way to go. It tends to have too large a radius of curvature when turning.

Model 3 HW3 retrofit questions, wait time, issues

I had a pleasant surprise on July 3rd. Tesla mobile service technician showed up and asked me to remove a car seat and other things on the seat. I wondered why because the tire rotation wouldn't need them to be removed. I asked him and was told that he needed to access below the seat for the...

Model 3 HW3 retrofit questions, wait time, issues

I upgraded my M3 (Q3 2018 delivery) to FSD from EAP a few days ago. While making an appointment for tire rotation this morning, I asked when I can get HW3 upgrade (it has HW 2.5) and was told that it'd take a few weeks for their system to get updated about my FSD purchase and I'd be notified...

MASTER THREAD: Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, How to Maintain Battery Health

Because I'm a bit worried that my M3 LR battery has lost the capacity a bit too fast over 22 months of my ownership (Aug 2018 delivery), I did some calculation today. At 75% charge (I charged up to 90% and drove a few tens of miles), the energy app showed that the projected range is 220 miles...

    FM radio stopped working

I have the same issue with FM radio. I'm on 2019.28. Rebooting fixed it, but the issue came back next day. It looks like I have to make an appointment as well.

Battery charged over the set limit ?

Thank you for the reply, but it's way over than 1~2% over the set limit. It's almost 10% over the set limit ( 270-80 miles vs 305 miles). I suspect that it'd kept on going if my wife had not unplugged it at the end of the day (to return home). In addition, a warning message about charging...

Battery charged over the set limit ?

Hi, My wife charged our model 3 LR at work all day. At the end of the day, she found that it's charged to 305 miles and there was a warning about charging to too higher a level. I set the charging limit to 80% from day 1 and it had been always charged to around 280 miles until today. Toward...
