Sorry, I'm confused. I don't have an ad on CraigsList, so I'm assuming you are saying that my post above looks like one? I was only trying to include the most relevant information, but if you have some more specific suggestions on how to improve it that would be great.

Rolling out a car that was "years in the making" only to introduce a huge overhaul to one of the key features a few months later that's not backwards-compatible is unbelievable. There is no getting around the feeling that my non-upgradable Model X was released half-baked.

Those processors are very inexpensive (esp. relative to the price of the car), and could probably be replaced without much issue. Then the question is software updates tailored to the older sensor suite, which is the difficult/expensive part.

My fear is that there is very little incentive for Tesla to keep the software up to date on our original Model Xs. Now that the hardware has changed, as has the processor running it, I would expect our days of meaningful software updates are numbered. The number of people with this original...

I am guessing you are right, but I'm also on Oregon highways with lots of tire noise, so sometimes it's hard to tell.

Just mounted my Torklift front plate holder and I feel like I'm getting significantly more wind noise. Anyone else?

The air movement of the seats of the X is substantially inferior to my previous car, a 2013 Kia Optima.

I tried to use Alliant, but being self-employed caused a lot of problems. They wanted a crazy amount of paperwork. Local credit union matched their rate.
