I was under the impression that the Performance Y is going to 303 miles now. Or at least the new Y’s are showing that range on Tesla’s website.

I like my Y Performance, but it feels slow and heavy compared to the my 3 LR RWD which is slower on paper. The 3 is just so much more fun to drive, but that’s just my opinion.

Anyone see a range increase yet? I’m still stuck at 291 on my Performance Y.

If you need a car, then buy it. If not, then wait. But like anything else as soon as you buy there will be improvements a year ow two later.

No change for me as well. Haven’t driven much since the update so cant say if it changed something from behind the scenes. For whatever reason I enjoy seeing the number. The biggest downside of the Performance Y was the initial 280 range. I’ll be much happier when it shows 303 :)

I’d do the 3 if you care about performance. I had the LR RWD 3 and now the Performance Y. From a purely fun to drive standpoint the 3 is much better and feels faster even though it isn’t. Much cheaper as well. If you care about space then I’d go with the Y. Hope this helps.

I received a charge cable may not be plugged in correctly for my Model Y. I’m hooking up to a non-Tesla charger with the Tesla adaptor. I looked at the charge port and the left side is black and the right side looks metal. Not sure if there is a problem there? I haven’t taken it to another...

I took delivery of mine in early June with many of the same problems as those in this forum (scratches, paint, fit & finish). Not sure Tesla has the problems under control, but for the most part they aren’t major. Personally i’d order and then reject at delivery if it isn’t up to your standards...

I mean that’s worse than mine and I would say mine was an average at best delivery. I don’t for the life of me understand how they get so much dirt on interior?

Is Tesla going to send an update for the Performance Y range increase from 280 to 291 miles? I picked mine up in mid-June so no chance for a price decrease for me. More excited about the range increase anyway. Wish they could have gotten 300. Thats my magic number, but...

Yes. All of my door jams are missing paint. The area on the trunk is also missing paint where it connects to the car (looks pretty dinged up too).

That’s exactly what I did. My gains have paid for almost 70% of the car. Only wish I purchased more stock.

I would have rejected that car. I love Tesla (and their stock), but their QA is really bad. Mine has the seat issue, paint, plastic scratches, and panel gaps and while those are normal on a $60K Tesla they weren’t deal breakers for me. Sad thing is I haven’t seen this lack of QA in cares that...

I’d keep the order and then reject it if the issues are major. I kept mine, but there were very similar issues to the above. Almost every piece of plastic in the car has some sort of defect. I realize it’s plastic and going to scratch, but disappointing. I have 1 major panel alignment issues...
