Thought about doing that, even told them I wanted the old unit. They said they would not be able to assist IN ANY WAY with packing up the old unit, nor getting it out of their shop. In the end it wasn't worth my time and effort.

We are installing a medium solar panel system with two Powerwalls. Just for 10% less money now. :)

We had a signed contract for a November install date, called them and they are rewriting the contract to reflect the 10% reduction in price.

My install is not done yet and they have clarified that the Gateway 2 in not for the US.

Gateway 2 is for three phase 220v power systems. All installs in the US are the original Gateway. Too bad for me, I like the look of the Gateway 2 panel better.
