My son and I have just replaced the rear suspension arms in his 2015 S70D, including the toe links. We were planing to cut the bolts, but didn't need to do so. They simply came off after wiggling them a bit. Saved us a lot of time.
Just to add another data point. Had the warning on my 2014 P85+. SC checked and cleared the warning message for free. No repairs were needed.
Had the HV battery replaced a couple of years ago with a 350kW pack.
OP, you got most things covered. My 2014 P85+ heater core was replaced once. Our 2015 70D had the battery heater and a 4-way coolant valve replaced. We have been happy with their reliability.
After testing a bit, the purple and blue wires of the two devices are equivalent. So, the gen3 cable worked on gen2 device using only the purple and blue cable.
I am stumped.
The gen 2 wall connector wand/cable has two small single wires, but the gen 3 has 4. Anyone knows what they are used for and which two on the gen 3 are equivalent to the 2 on the gen 2?
Can a gen 3 wand be used used with the gen 2 body?
The first picture is of a gen 2 showing two...
Working on cars is my way to unwind and relax the mind. This would be a good project if I can get help activating it or shown how to do it myself (better).
