KW Autobody did great work! I was lucky that the Tesla had the parts in stock at the SC. I needed a bumper cover and rear crash bar. Parts could take as long as a 1.5 Months according to KW. FYI, the Airport location is the certified Tesla shop

Yup so it happened today, I was rear ended across Waimalu Elementary by a Ford Escape... Damage doesn’t seem too bad, mainly bumper and lower part of hatch. Ford had some pretty bad front end damage. My concern is that the hatch seems to shutter while opening and sounds funny while closing...

Just had my tires replaced at the service center this past weekend. Apparently Enterprise Rental Car bought 15 MS 75Ds to loan to Tesla customers. I got to take one for the day as they worked on my S.

Ok guys, so Tesla call and basically the grid charging I saw was a bug. Charging from the grid is not allowed if you have a solar system, right now. Tesla is working through some legal stuff before they can release the grid charging feature. No ETA from Tesla right now.

So I got a call from Powerwall support today, charging from the grid was actually a bug in the firmware prior to 1.9.0. Apparently I got a sneak peak of what the TOU function would be like.. Good while it lasted I guess. According to Tesla, they are waiting on some legal “stuff” from certain...

This is still odd to me... My PWs always operated as follows Backup Mode Solar always fed house first, then any excess went to the PWs. If solar production was low, PWs would charge at 3.3kw total from the grid Self Powered Mode Would mimic Backup Mode if it set the Reserve above the state...

I have seen my PWs charge at 5.5kw with my 6kw solar system. Here is the proof that they charge above 3.3kw... 4.2kw to PWs
