Is charge on solar logic flawed?

As far as I can tell they are fairly accurate. I have an independent device measuring the house load and it is pretty close to what the PW is telling me. I just happened to catch them all equal when I did the screenshot but that's not generally the case. They're usually within +- .2kW or so.

Is charge on solar logic flawed?

Thanks for the suggestions. This is happening when the car is above the lower (usual driving ) limit but below the upper limit. Once the Powerwall is full it behaves as expected: solar powers house first, excess goes to car charging, and any remaining power is exported. The problem manifests...

Is charge on solar logic flawed?

I’ve only had charge on solar enabled for a couple of days but it has consistently shown this behavior. The charge levels are set at 50 and 80% with the vehicle battery level in the 65% range. The Powerwall reserve was set at 12% so we are well above that.

Is charge on solar logic flawed?

I have a Tesla solar with powerwall 3 setup. Powerwall is in self powered mode with charge from grid disabled. During the day when solar is producing, it preferentially powers the house with any excess power going to charge the Powerwall . Nothing is imported from the grid unless production...

    S to 3

I went from an S to a 3 last year. I'd say the noise level is comparable but the ride on the 3 is definitely a bit stiffer. I had the air suspension on the S and it felt somewhat smoother but almost mushy when compared to the 3. It's personal preference but I love the drive of the 3. It's so...

    Left Camera Video Recordings Corrupted

Interesting. I had a very similar problem with the left camera having partially corrupted files. Service tried fixing it with firmware updates but ended up replacing the camera.

Chicago service center experiences? Which one do you recommend?

I've been using the highland Park service center for a couple of years and have generally been quite satisfied with them. Don't have any experience with the others.

    Model S Wheels on a Model 3

No, unfortunately they won't. They're a slightly different bolt pattern.

2018 75D home charging circuit breaker

A 14-50 circuit should have a 50 amp breaker. With only a 40 amp breaker you shouldn't pull more than 32 amp continuously.

    Model S winter tire experiences

I ran the pirellis on my 75d last winter and they performed very well for every day driving around town and a couple of road trips including a January trip to Montreal. Consumer reports rated them very highly.

2017 Supercharger Plan: New Chicago city location?

I'm still not a fan of any surcharge to simply access the chargers. If it is heavily used as some have suggested, you might arrive to find the stalls all taken. Then you have to wait or come back. In either case, you're out more money. Oh well, maybe it will work for some with no other option...

2017 Supercharger Plan: New Chicago city location?

This seems like a really bad arrangement for a supercharger. Paying a minimum of $20 just to access the changers, then paying for the electricity on top of it (assuming you don't have unlimited supercharging) you could quickly rival the cost of filling up with gas. If I were a new model 3 owner...

Question for folks with EcoHitch installed on Model S

I checked with the folks at TorkLift a couple of weeks ago and they said they're working on the undercover for the newer models but no ETA at this point.
