    Pulling the ESP fuse

I don't dare to do it since I can't be 100% sure I won't have to visit the service center afterwards..

    Pulling the ESP fuse

Sorry, I did not find anything about that with the forum search. I am sure this must have been discussed already. Which fuse do I have to pull to disable EPS and traction control completely? I know there are multiple fuse boxes on the Model S. What are the drawbacks in doing that? I mean not...

Is there someone with firmware 2017.48 (AP2) that still gets usefull information from vehicle_state ? My car stopped reporting any trim details after installing .48. My other model S on 2017.28 (AP1) still reports all body color parts and other trim options.

    2017.38 f87c64d5

Drove some time with 2017.38 f87c64d5 now and also don't see any improvement since the .32 version. The car still veers left and right when someone merges close in front of me onto my lane, almost crashes into the left rear side of a car when I accelerate during a lane change, stays long times...

    17.26.76

No it is not. That's the point. It got worse over the last few weeks. The latest update did undo some of the regression, but introduced new limitations. And when I ordered my 2017 Model S in November and upgraded from my 2016 Model S, the website made me believe that they will reach AP1 parity...

By secondary roads I mean all roads not being divided highways. I am from Switzerland, maybe it is different in the US? With AP1 or the early AP2 software versions it was around 10% of the secondary roads having speed restrictions, now it is about 90%. AP1 was perfect early last year but now...

    17.26.76

2017.28 c is much better, but far from "good" or even "as good as AP1". I have so many phantom-braking events, swerving laterally while braking, delays for lane change etc. that the car does not build up the same confidence as AP1 cars do. In my AP1 Model S it is quite hard to stay focused on...

    17.26.76

I too had passenger shriek in freight about the abrupt lane change! I is really unpleasant, even if you are getting used to it. I got all three front cameras replaced and a new alignment-bracket installed, but that did not change anything. The last few software versions where a massive step...

Do you have an X? After talking to many owners, it seems that the X is way better compared to the S in regards of these AP2.0 problems. Seems to me that Tesla is training the deep neural nets with camera data from the X and then just pushing the same DNNs to the S, but they don't fit 100%...

    17.26.76

I loved my S90D with AP1.0. Then I made the mistake and upgraded to a S90D AP2.0. With 17.17.17 the car made me feel dizzy because it always drifted and jiggled between the lines. But auto lane change worked. So I was happy to get 17.26.76 at first. But that actually made things worse! It now...

Blackvue or like dash cams please step in. Few questions

Yes, you will have to solder two cables either way, right? If you solder to another cable or to a pin isn't too much of a difference, right?

The OBD Port is on your left knee under the steering wheel. It is just a connector. You can buy a blank connector for 2$ and solder ground and +12V to it to power the blackview. Easy and clean solution and you can even unplug it if you like. No problems with supercharging or leaving it plugged...
