Model S test drive? New stores?

Hey all -- two questions: 1.) When will the test drives start to be made available to reservation holders? I was told at the most recent Boston even that reservation holders will have access to private test drives. 2.) I also heard that some new stores will be announced. Any idea on...

    Suzy Orman Show

That has to be one of the most poorly organized sites I've ever tried to search through. I found a tweet from Suze Orman where she mentions that she'll talk about Tesla on April 14. I tried searching the transcript of the April 14 show, but the transcript does not match the show at all.

Retractable Door Handles - Is It Practical?

Brilliant. That's the beauty of allowing software updates to the car.

Retractable Door Handles - Is It Practical?

So freaking awesome. I can't wait. All I need to add on to it is an 'app' that speaks to me like K.I.T.T. once the door opens up, and I'll be golden.

Retractable Door Handles - Is It Practical?

So, do the handles present without a "tap?" So - there is no version of the handles where the handles automatically present themselves without having to tap them first? I could have sworn at one point that the handles would present themselves without a tap as the key approached?

Is 4.4 seconds vs 5.6 seconds alone worth $10k?

How about for those of us who are barely able to afford the 40kwh? Will the midrange be drastically different for the 40kwh as compared to the 60kwh?

Model S mobile App ... OS?

I thought I heard at a Tesla event on the east coast that the engineers working on the mobile app are former Apple, Inc. employees who worked on the OS for the original iPod. Also, they've already demoed an iOS app at multiple events. So we know there's at least one being worked on for iOS.

Active Air Suspension: Significantly smoother ride?

My point was that I don't want to have to pay attention to adjusting it manually, which is what the features talk about for specific terrain. However, it seems like the suspension does in fact contribute to a softer ride, which is the main reason why I'd want it, not for terrain or increased...

Active Air Suspension: Significantly smoother ride?

Yeah, I've never really driven any car that was so low to the ground that it was really ever a concern. But if the Model S is really as low as it sounds, I guess it's better to have the option than not. I think I'd be much more interested in the Active Air Suspension if I knew it really made...

Active Air Suspension: Significantly smoother ride?

It's a curious option, to adjust the height of the car. I drive in the Northeast, where potholes resemble asteroid craters and there are many hills. However, I don't think I'd want to have to 'think' about the height of my car off the ground every day and continuously be adjusting.

Active Air Suspension: Significantly smoother ride?

Sooo... for $1,500 I'll have a noticeably smoother ride?

    Factory Delivery

Have they officially announced the Tesla - Natick/Boston store yet?

Active Air Suspension: Significantly smoother ride?

I'm hoping someone can help me to understand the benefits to ordering the "Active Air Suspension" option, beyond the fact that it "increases range". Does it provide for a much smoother ride? Would the car have a much rougher ride without it?
