    17.14.23

Thank you! I don't mind going into the settings (as long as I don't have to do it every time I get into the car) and setting it to +5, I just hated being the car doing exactly 55 with 5 cars right on my bumper on an undivided highway with limited passing spots.

What are the current speed limits? Currently my AP1 X90D allows my key fob to set AP to 5 over, but my wife's fob is limited to exactly the speed limit. I'm hesitant about losing my ability to do 5 over because traffic around here simply doesn't do the speed limit...

    Odd door issues

Thank you, I'll give that a shot.

    Odd door issues

I’ve been having some odd door issues lately. Last weekend I drove about 60 miles away, when I got out and hit the top of the key fob to lock it the driver door opened. It kept repeating this even after getting in and starting, shifting into gear, then stopping the X again. We finally...

How many miles have I driven on Autopilot?

Forgive me if this has been asked before, I tried searching but as you can imagine driven and autopilot get a lot of search hits. I've seen threads and news articles about how many miles the Tesla fleet has driven on autopilot, but is there any way I can see how far I personally have driven...

    Model X September Deliveries

Finally took delivery on 9/24. Some interesting timing logistics, the car was supposed to arrive at the dealership 9/26 but due to some personal timing issues that would mean I couldn't pick it up until 10/1. Fortunately, it arrived early and I was able to quickly finalize the loan. Once I...

Are front license plate holders pre-installed?

My X is on it's way. I'm picking it up in a state that requires front license plates, but I live in a state that doesn't. I'm really hoping that it is the clean front end without the holder, but since the car is finished it's probably too late to make a request. Thoughts?

    Model X September Deliveries

Woo hoo! Just got my 'Tesla is Complete' email today (Labor Day) at 7:35 PM Eastern. If any of the people who worked on it are reading this, I'm sorry that you had to work on Labor Day, but THANK YOU for doing it, you're changing the world!!! Now for the question everyone wants to know, how...

    Model X September Deliveries

They're not all that fast, I just got word from my DS that mine was in production on 8/29 and still an estimated delivery of the second half of September (although possibly as early as the 17th). As much as I want to see mine done, I'm still trying to understand the comments I see from the...

    Quote for HPWC install

In that case it seems a bit pricey to me. Obviously, I don't know the electrical costs in your area, but I think that would be worth a second quote. In my area, I generally figure it costs $200 to get someone to drive to your house to do something, then I generally expect $60/hour +...

    Quote for HPWC install

Since you say it includes all materials I assume that means the HPWC as well? If so then that is a very good deal. If you were to buy it and install it yourself it would cost $500 for the HPWC and a bit more for a breaker and wire. I'm sure they get a discount on the chargers, but it...

Trade in value and surprise accident damage?

Did they give you any indication of what happened to it? Was it a scratch repair or had they replaced the entire side of the car? That brings up another interesting point, does Tesla not submit information to Carfax or whatever central database stores that kind of stuff?

Last minute switch to Lease (not a lease/finance thread)

Do you happen to know where they're getting the scores from and where they draw the line between 1.75 and 4.35 rates? I'll be applying in the next couple of weeks and I really don't want a 4% rate. I haven't ran any CC's over their limits, but I'm also not sure if you're talking about the...

Wife wants Model X - Opinion?

I wonder if the Q2 2018 estimate will be correct, I did some quick searching and found Model S's with VINs in the 152,000 range and Model Xs in the 15,000 range. If they've truly produced that many cars (or at least have that many in the queue) that means there is only ~33,000 left before...

    The M3 terrifies BMW

As marketing techniques go, that one would probably win over some M3 reserves if they were similar cars, but after some quick google searching this sounds more like a plug-in Hybrid than an EV. I found a Car and Driver review "With gentle accelerator pressure, the iPerformance will motor up to...
