I wonder how long these will take to install, any why they aren't using the prefabricated ones like Round Rock. RR took about 4.5 weeks to fully install for reference, so we will see.
UPDATE: I just got home from the Sprouts nearby. There was a Tesla Energy van on site and I briefly spoke with the tech (and thanked him for their hard work). The meter is installed on the transformer and he said they're doing testing on the superchargers now. He didn't have an ETA, but it...
I don't know what you mean by setting the transformer, but everything is installed. It seems it only needs final inspection then meter install. I remember back when I moved here 4 years ago we were patiently waiting a few weeks for that step in the first Austin supercharger off I35.
I think the ground slopes. If you look at the bottom of the supercharger pedestals they're not even with the concrete base, like they were adjusted to be level.
Here’s an update from today 10/24. It seems all that’s left is to uncover the large electrical equipment and install the meter in the transformer. All signs, paving, striping, and even landscaping is complete!
I just drove by the site this morning and managed to get a few pictures in the dark. Not the best quality but you can clearly see it's coming along. I'm headed out of town tomorrow, but I'll post more when I get back if nobody else does and make sure to get some in the daylight next time!
I drove around the parking lot today when grocery shopping at Sprouts and saw no indication of any construction, equipment, or preparation. I hope they start construction soon, but as long as Georgetown has been pending I'm not holding my breath.
