    IL Front Plate Scofflaws

Over 30,000 miles and have yet to get pulled over about it. I'm sure if I ever do get pulled over they'll say something about it but until then I'm leaving it off.

    Supercharger - Villa Park, IL

That Advanced Data Technology trailer was at the Supercharger expansion here in North Aurora so it's pretty much a guarantee that it's Superchargers.

Actually the 30 minute signs were always there with the older chargers.

    Regen issue?

I'm not a big fan of this. That just puts a lot more wear on your brakes just to feel like your regen braking. I'd rather coast which would save my brakes and also be more energy efficient since you're not losing the energy you used. Noted: I'm not saying you're wrong or that is a dumb idea. If...

Without checking thickness of the cable the only way to tell the difference is the signs beside the chargers. The old ones say general parking is limited to 30 minutes while the new ones don't. Also I just checked the map again while I was driving by and it states that the max charge rate at...

Also they added a separate fenced off area for all the new equipment when they did the install here. It didn't look like they touched the original power equipment.

Hopefully they'll fix it. Like I said though there is nothing visually there yet to indicate which stations are 250kw which if this is your first time there can be a problem.

    Supercharger - North Aurora, IL

Sorry, I edited my post after you posted. I checked in navigation and it says that all spots are 150kw. Seems kind of weird for new chargers to be 150KW though. I have a base Model 3 so I can't test if that's true or not since I can only charge up to 120kw. Maybe someone can check. Also I...

Everything is good to go, they're are all open. No visual indicator that the new spots are 250kw though which might get confusing if they are. The in car navigation still shows them all to be 150kw though

They're not live. They're currently still covered

The extra spots should be active soon. They had the bags off one day last week but put them back on. They got the fence around the new power station so not sure how far they're on completing all the hook ups.

Ok, that's a weird spot for a van accessible handicap spot. Does this mean we're getting a Tesla Van soon ;)? It's a new sign and there is plenty of space in between chargers for wheelchair accessibility. Have people converted their Model X for wheelchair access?

Can confirm, they're putting in 8 more stalls at this location.

Looks like new chargers are being installed. Anyone know if they're for EA or is there going to be more Superchargers installed?

    Charge Port Door Broke Off!

Weird mine was quoted at being $214 here in Illinois. I had a tech come and replace it today and supposedly there is a recall on them so it should be fixed for free. The quote is just for Tesla's record or incase it wasn't covered under warranty. Mine was delivered 9/2021 but was part of the...
